Subway — Restaurant in Spring Garden Township

I came into this location around 8:45pm and the two guys working were prepping to close. Mopping the floor and putting lids in all the meat/cheese/veggies. This location closes at 10 so I didn't really think it was an inconvenience to be stopping in at this time. I was wrong. The guy behind the counter made it very clear that he was unhappy with my presence and literally slapped the meat and cheese on my sub sighing the entire time. Half way through my order a group of people came in and if looks could kill they'd all be dead. The food here is always good but the evening service sucks! I totally understand prepping for the end of the night but they were still supposed to be open for over an hour so treating me as if I walked in 2 minutes before closing is...

I felt bad when I saw there was only pennies in their tip jar but now I understand why. Awful customer service very disrespectful employees that don’t even know their classic subs and it didn’t seem like their first day considering their attitudes were poor. It was two girls a white one with black hair and a black girl with braids. The white girl with black hair went to the back to talk to a male employee and left me with my sub just sitting there until the other girl asked her what she was doing and why she just walked away from me then put a disgusting amount of topping like my avocado and mayonnaise is most of what I got would love for a manager to reach out and see what goes on in that store. Give the man who was working by himself 2/2/2023 at 11:30 AM a raise. I didn’t catch his name but he provided a great service and is a great worker. I do admit I was a little passive aggressive when I was in a time crunch and I saw my order was late and had to wait 10 minutes during my 30 minute lunch break. I feel bad and I apologize to him. However what is not acceptable is that a corporation as large as subway is obviously not paying its workers enough money. Take care of you workers. Do better, this location is understaffed almost every-time I come here and I have to hear an explanation from the workers every-time. Shut down the location if you can’t get staff...
