I used to spend a whole lot of money here and shopped here with no problems. I was just recently had the cops called on by the manager Barry. And he explained that he didn't want me on his property anymore. Casey's made the decision to trespass me indefinitely. All because I was panhandling from another store on the sidewalk. Which if he would have asked me to move down the street like a couple of feet or so I would have but kindly did so. But instead he called the police and filed a police report banning me for life. Please don't shop here at Casey's as they don't support civil rights, activists or anyone homeless or disabled. Trying to survive and make a few extra pennies on the corner in front of their store, I don't bother any of their customers or do anything outrageous to cause any problems. If anything I would think that I bring more customers because people have to stop in the parking lot to bring me sometimes food and money or food from the store itself. I was flabbergasted when I was told by the Spring Hill Police department officers that I could not sit on the curb because Casey's grass overgrows the curb and that means I'd be sitting on Casey's grass and that's private property which would make me trespassed.. I told them that they should cut their grass off of the curb cuz that's public property and the officer said that's not their problem. That's up to the code enforcer. Long story short. Nothing was done other than me being trespassed from being anywhere near Casey's in putting my feet in the street. There's only one or two sidewalks in this whole town and I'm not allowed to put my feet on the street which is public property, but I'm supposed to somehow walk around town or get to my next destination without breaking the officers, rules...
Read moreMy hometown Caseys, so I'm partial to it, but I would be lying if I said it was anywhere close to perfect. The new remodel is very nice. As a for.er employee & Assistsant Manager (years ago) I can assure you we took better care of the old store and treated our customers with more respect than the employees do now. The store is always dirty & trashed. Out of cups, soda, lids, etc. Trash all over the counters & floors. You usually have to track down an employee to wait on you or wait for them to finish visiting with their friends or other co-workers about personal situations and/or other co-workers before they wait on you. The staff is not friendly. When I was there, we would have been fired for a number of things I see that happen in the store each time I am in there. I will not eat the food that comes from the kitchen there because the employees there carry out trash, walk in & start touching food without washing their hands, & the their personal appearance/hygiene does not look clean itself. I've watched the pizza cook scratch their head with their glove then go back to make a pizza without changing their gloves. That is NOT okay. The only thing positive I do have to say is, the bathrooms are usually clean, I love the ice from the ice machine and the remodel looks nice. Myself along with many other customers agree the entire staff nerds to be gone, with a new staff on board, who care about their job, their customers, their store, respect each other enough not to talk trash on them in front of customers and all need to be taught...
