Greek City Cafe - Spring Hill — Restaurant in Florida

My family and I have been coming here for years since we moved from Tampa. We usually dine in but because of Covid we been getting delivery the last several times. Adding 5 meals plus the delivery charges, we are spending $80-$90 each time we order. The last 2 times we got delivery were not a good experience. One time the soda was just carbonated water....I called the store not to complain but just let them know that flavor needed to be changed. Last night however, was unacceptable food. The the meat on the gyros we ordered was so over cooked it was like eating beef jerky. And the one I got had NO LONG pieces of meat at all. It was like gyro bits...not bacon bits...but gyro. Way over cooked and hard and crunchy!! I threw my sandwich away and just ate my salad. Because of the added fees for delivery and the quality of the food when we get it delivered, my family and I will only be back for dine in once everything turns back to normal. *Update After posting my review a day later, I was asked to email them about my experience. I was asked specific questions, amount spent, time of order, etc. I did an extra and attached a screen shot of my order and my receipt. I was told that they would look into everything and get back with me on August 6th. Unfortunately, I haven't heard a single word since then (Sept. 29th). Which is really disappointing. My post wasn't to get anything free but only to help the company train their staff for better service. If this is how the company follows up with their customers, its no wonder their employees are struggling to meet the basic demands of a to go order. I will have to reconsider now giving my money to a place like this. Tarpon isn't that much further away from me just in the opposite direction. Changed star rating from 3 to 1 because the lack of communication in dealing with everything...

What an epic little restaurant! The managers and servers wer working hard the entire time we were there yet they took the time to be very kind to us and help us. The food is delicious. And we eat Greek food out at nice restaurants a lot, and their food is just as delicious if not more delicious than some Greek restaurants we've been to. They offer french fries covered in feta for only $4.99. They looked great. We ordered a gyro, lemon 🍋 rice soup which was the best lemon soup we've ever eaten at any of the nicer Greek restaurants. Also ordered their Greek salad 🥗 that of course contains delicious potato salad and I loved that they chopped all the toppings on top -- the salad/lettuce itself is not chopped. They offer a drive-thru, they also possibly offer delivery we saw a car that was covered in their advertisements so they might use that for catering or delivery. Very clean restaurant even the bathroom was very nice and very clean. It's a little place and it has a nice decor and delicious food. Please go and support them. Their prices are very reasonable. Get something there before going to any other stupid burger place, this place is much nicer with much more delicious food for the same price as junk food fast food essentially. Go enjoy some...

While I have been here before and never experienced an issue this time I had decided to go and actually sit down to enjoy my meal with my significant other. First thing that happened was that immediately after we had sat down our little card was snatched away and we were unsure of whether that was a worker or not with no greeting or anything. Second thing was when our food did come out it was already just lukewarn but we decieed hey why not. Food is food but the third that broke the camels back was that my order was messed up. I had ordered the soup not the fries with it and in order to fix it instead of just leaving the falafel pita there with everything the waitress stated she would have to take everything back. So my already lukewarm food would basically be cold upon arrival because she was only going to fix the fries not the entire order. My significant other would have finished their food all because my waitress entered my order in wrong. They also if I did not want the fries that were already served to me but also my soup they were going to charge me again. Ultimately, this ruined appetite and we left. We will be sticking to the sister location...
