Made reservations a few weeks ago for a date with my partner. We were very excited as it would be our first time visiting. Decor was very corny and cheap but it was seasonal, a plus I guess. We ordered off of the pre-fixe valentines menu (which was not advertised online when making the reservation, or else we would have went elsewhere). The menu was very small and not very diverse. Entree options were limited to salmon, ravioli, beef Wellington, roasted chicken or a pork chop.. pretty basic options which neither of us were interested in (we had a 9:15pm reservation, it was too late to switch restaurants). We ended up deciding on tuna tartar (10/10 fantastic, great quality fish) & French onion soup (9/10 basic but done pretty well) for our appetizers. However, dinner was when things took a turn. I had ordered beef Wellington and had received a sad filet with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus, not what I had ordered. Our server didn’t come around for 15 minutes after being served and I did not touch my entree as it wasn’t what I had ordered. She eventually showed up and asked how our food was (I hadn’t even moved my steak knife mind you). I politely let her know this is not what I had ordered and she responded that they “ran out”. I was not informed that this was the case and was charged a $5 up charge or it. She then took my filet plate and MAGICALLY came back with a BEEF WELLINGTON! it was clearly sitting out and was completely undercooked with stretchy doughy puff pastry. A buss boy came out and took my plate before I had been able to tell the server. My significants plate (salmon entree) was fantastic and I wish I had ordered that. I was very disappointed and felt as though our service was somehow drawn out and rushed at the same time. I asked for the check early and my dessert to go and that took an additional 15 minutes. Will not be returning and strongly urge everyone else to keep their distance. La Mondina is close by and they’re fantastic if you need a...

2 stars is honestly being generous. For starters, I would like to say we had a great time as everything we witnessed was comical.

The decor in the dining area was quite lazy and ranged from feeling like a night club to a cafeteria. The service was very poor beginning with two servers not knowing who was in charge of the table. The water pitcher was not full enough to fill 2 glasses and the man in charge of pouring it did not seem to know how to operate it. We were hoping for a cocktail menu to which one server tried to bring one out, only to be stopped by our server saying “we are not doing that tonight.” I asked what kind of gin was available for a dirty martini to which I was told “all kinds.”

Fast forward to the food delivery from one of the food runners (who had an AirPod in) who spilled the oysters and ice all over the table. Crab cake was cold, lobster roll bun burnt and server didn’t seem to know which dish belonged to who so he set them in the middle of the table for us to grab. Our martinis were good but then we ordered a glass of wine which had lipstick smeared on one of the glasses.

Across the way, we witnessed a server making banana foster table side to then reach to middle of the table over the guests with a hot pan and pour it in a dish. Not to mention, the entire staff seemed to walk around confused and without a purpose which made the vibe feel really awkward.

To close it all off, when we were his only table left he had disappeared for 10 minutes and came back smelling like a cigarette. We were baffled.

I believe that this menu has a lot of potential, aside from multiple spelling errors including “Sandwhich” and “Ribye.” These may be two very easy signs to quickly point you to...

We wanted a holiday themed and decorated restaurant and heard about this place last year, but the reviews were always mixed. Made a reservation and checked out the hideaway to see all the decorations-- super crowded and the heat was blasting. We learned you couldn't get dinner there from the bartender, just small plates so we kept our reservation. Upon walking in, there was no host anywhere to be seen. We walked in more and a server said they would get someone for us. She seated us in the back corner away from everyone but it was way too dark there and no working lamps. She moved our seats. We waited for a while and no one came over. In the 15 minutes it took for the hostess to come over and give us water, I noticed the serving staff complaining to each other and clearly pissed off. We tried to be understanding and patient. The hostess poured our water and literally put a drop in, come on who drinks that little water we had to either ask for more or have a pitcher left at our table. Again, I saw the hostess with a woman, a server and the male server by the kitchen door clearly complaining to each other about something. To me it was just really unprofessional. Another 10 minutes or so go goes by and the server comes over to us and we're ready to order - we asked for the steak and they were out of it. It's 5:00! Just so many things going wrong before we even were able to order our drinks. Clearly they are short staffed and unhappy. A lot of things went wrong in our experience, we left and went somewhere else. The server didn't even seem surprised when we said we were leaving... That in itself says it all. 1/5 rating is...

Wow. I wanted to like this place so badly! I reserved a 20 person party and ended up canceling it. Place kept reaching out via social media with offers. Decor looked amazing. Went to try with my boyfriend before hand. Server never came up to our table. After 45 minutes we Had to move to the bar in order to get food and service. Another table nearby had all empty cocktails and was walking up to the bar themselves to get refills. They warned us we should go somewhere else, that the decor is nice but that's all. After heading to the bar, The temporary bartender was very good! But complaining as to how things are ran there. This is why he no longer works for them. I reached out many times via phone and email to ask for one specific room for my party. Never got an answer. Asked for the manager while I ate there so I can request to rent the room. He NEVER came up to us. 2 hours later we got our food. It was okay, subpar compared to other amazing restaurants in the area. $52 filet was okay, very plain. Soup was not fresh tasting. Salmon presentation was nice but the taste was bland. I ended up canceling my entire birthday party after reading bad reviews and my experience matching them. Cannot risk having a party where the food is bland and the service sucks. Management too. Plus there is a restaurant fee which I Dont mind paying if the experience wasn’t ran so terribly. Restaurant never answered me back via social media or read it before my party date where I cancelled the reservation. Did they even reserve it at all? Strange.

We recently enjoyed a truly special evening in Spring Lake, starting with an outstanding production of Annie. Every cast member delivered a heartfelt, professional performance that lit up the stage. The theatre itself was filled with families, all clearly enjoying the experience together, which made the atmosphere even more vibrant and warm. The staff at the theatre were wonderfully helpful and accommodating, making the entire event feel seamless and welcoming. Prior to the show, we headed to the Sea Crest Grille at the elegant Shore Club, where the evening continued to impress. On arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of sangria in the beautiful entrance hall—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the meal. The roast lamb was a clear favorite, cooked to perfection—tender, full of flavor, and served with roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a rich, delicious gravy. The skirt steak was just as memorable, cooked exactly as requested and paired with light, fluffy mashed potatoes served piping hot. The salmon was equally exceptional, with a perfectly sized portion, flakey yet firm, and accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes prepared to perfection. The staff at the restaurant were warm, attentive, and made the dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. All together, it was a wonderful night of great food, outstanding entertainment, and kind, thoughtful service—an evening worth remembering.
