What a terrible experience from the owner. Wow! Asked for a ice coffee NOT a cold brew since i do not like the taste of cold brew. I requested as i order for a hot coffee with a plastic cup with ice on the side so i can make my ice coffee. As my hot coffee was ready the owner gave me a hard time to get a plastic cup with ice. As he clearly was rude he said i was working the system haha. I explained why I’d requested my drink this way he continued to give his pathetic reasons why he doesn’t give out a plastic cup and ice. Again they do not serve ice coffee made with cold coffee they only sell cold brew which has a different taste. While other customers watched and listened to this owner argue with me over a cup of ice. I offered to pay whatever he wanted to charge me. This was really a shocking yet terrible experience from this coffee shop. Gave me the cup but really pathetic as a business owner to a business owner you really need to learn how to handle situations. Really buddy a plastic cup with ice you just lost my business and many others as i educate everyone on my experience. What a joke. Coffee sucked also. If you want true ice coffee this is not the place for you. Rook coffee and all the other coffee shops in the area have my business. This is the way he runs his business he said so good for you not getting my money ever again.
response to this owner. your response shows the type of person you are. that's why you lost a lot of customers. this is a coffee shop that they let dogs put their paws on the counters and think it's cute. this is a coffee shop that the owner feels the need to say to a customer it's his way not what the customer wants. Seriously we are talking about an ice coffee, an ice coffee that this coffee shop owner explains is too rigorous of an item to sell lol. Ice coffees are sold in every coffee shop but this one. I guess his brain does not work to full use. this owner is a joke. he was out of line from the moment I questioned my item i paid for. Won't be long before this place is...
Read moreTBH this place should have 5 out of 5 stars .... My boyfriend and I went to this little coffee shop right after a church wedding in between the reception. To say this place is amazing/cozy is an understatement. First off, I got the brown sugar latte for myself when we got there. The coffee/latte that we were served was so smooth and velvety it tasted so good. It did not taste burns or water down or anything bad like normal coffee places like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. My boyfriend got a peach and mango smoothie with one scoop of protein in it, and he said it was the most realistic tasting smoothie he's ever had. I ended up ordering the THE BEST EGGNOG latte with oat-milk advertised ! It was so good - i also ordered that to go with additional two drinks to go because it was that good ! Lastly, customer service was OUTSTANDING - especially the front girl named Emma (i think or maybe Emily, i am not sure as this is being posted 3 days later) she was the one that made the great recommendation for both lattes and smoothies. We also had a great small conversation with her that made us feel so welcome to this shop!! I wish we lived closer to this place because I would be a regular customer everyday / every other day! We live about 2 hrs away from this place and definitely will be back when we are in the area visiting family. THANK YOU EMMA FOR UR WELCOMING SERVICE... CANT WAIT TO VISIT...
Read moreI was so excited to visit this coffee shop with my boyfriend who lives in the area and said it was one of his favorites growing up. We unfortunately had an awful experience involving expired milk and it was so disappointing. I’ve literally never written a bad review of a place, but this was so unacceptable that I felt I had to voice this negative experience.
We ordered two different drinks, an iced chai and an iced white mocha — both with the same type of milk, 2%. We got our drinks, took our first sips, and looked at each other with the same expression that something was amiss. I told him mine tasted really off and he agreed that his did as well.
I wondered if it was just a different sort of chai, but the taste was truly rancid and rotten and disgusting. My boyfriend had the exact same experience, each of us only taking one sip before having to throw it out. It was then that we realized that the common factor between our two drinks was the 2% milk — rotten 2% milk. Next time, we’re going somewhere that doesn’t serve expired milk. Besides the milk being disgusting and past expiration, there was simply way too much of it in the drinks and that’s literally all we could taste.
Very disappointing experience as I was truly looking forward to this, and it was quite concerning that expired milk is being served in the drinks. Definitely something that needs to...
