I phone in.
"Hello, Little Caesars (fill in rest of spiel)."
Me, "Yes, hello. Do you still have your Hot-and-Ready to-go pizzas?"
"Yes. We have pepperoni, plain cheese..."
"Do you have the ones with extra toppings?" I ask.
"Yes our Supreme," said the cashier on the line.
"As a Hot- and-Ready. That one. With all the ingredients." I say.
"There's no guarantee that the one you want will be here when you arrive. Would you like to order it?"
"Yes. Do you need a card?" I ask. The cashier says it's not necessary. Just a name to hold that pizza. I put it under my husband's name.
"So, one with all the ingredients?"
"Yes, " l say. "One with everything."
No total is given, but I know $20.oo will cover the total and I'll still get change back.
We get there and it's $38.oo. "For a Hot- and-Ready??" I ask, in disbelief.
"No, this is one with everything," says the cashier.
"I wanted the Hot-and-Ready with all the extras, not just cheese, or pepperoni."
"You said you wanted one with everything."
"I wanted your Hot-and-Ready, but okay, that's on me. "
My husband drives all the way home to get more change because he forgot his wallet. In the meantime, l begin to feel the effects of hypoglycemia because my doctor put me on medication that suddenly drops my blood sugar.
I sit in a corner away from the sunlight to wait. I get up to explain to the cashiers why I'm sitting down and a teen comes out to mop. I am no longer able to sit because of the wet floor. The cashier offers me a chair. I decline.
My husband comes back twenty minutes later. We're taking this pizza with us for a date, outdoors. Someplace closer than our home. We open it up. ITS NOT SLICED. We proceed to tear into this mess with bare hands like cavemen.
That's on you,...
Read moreI placed an order online to quickly pick up a pizza and take it home with me. The ordering process went smoothly. The pizza was actually ready before the time given. I stopped in to pick it up. I have to say that I was put off by my first online order pick-up process involving the warmer. I hurried in to get the order and was asked for a pick-up code. I informed the cashier (who was very nice) that I didn't have a code. She informed me that it would have been emailed to me. I didn't have my cell on me, so I had to run back out to the car to get it, get on my email, and get the code. Once I had the code, the cashier directed me on how to look up which warmer spot that my pizza was in and how to enter the code to open the warmer to get my pizza. It was not a hard process, however, I'm not sure why the cashier(s) can't automatically open up the warmer and get the pizza out for the customer. The pizza seemed to be a bit skimpy on the toppings on some of the slices. Other slices were okay. The pizza definitely did not have the extra cheese on it that I had ordered. The pizza was over cooked. Although, not very happy with the pizza itself or my first pick-up with the warmer process, I will order again since the cashier was so friendly and the fact that I have enjoyed Little Caesars' pizzas in the past. So, maybe it was just a bad...
