Spring Lake District Library — Attraction in Spring Lake Township

Me and my friend were sitting at the table near the entrance just messing around slapping each other lightly, a worker comes over asks us to stop, which I think she was just watching us on the camera because we were out of view unless you walk in the entrance, so we stopped slapping each other and poke each other instead and she comes over again and tells us to leave, i don’t understand why that is a problem we weren’t bothering anyone we even asked an older man his thoughts on the situation and he said that it doesn’t make sense since that’s a way humans interact with each other when messing around, we weren’t like fighting or hitting each other hard at all just very light hits, we did say “we aren’t bothering anyone and we’re not hurting each other and her response was “you’re bothering each other.” Like huh? That doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t catch the lady’s name tag but she has black hair and was wearing a black dress and obviously older since she just had to make a problem out of nothing for no reason, she definitely did that out of boredom and just to be a Karen, I will be trying to find a way to file a complaint because she was very disrespectful which caused me to be very disrespectful, on the way out she said all snobby like “have a nice day” and I said “mm yeah Karen” and smiled in the snobby...

Mostly enjoy going to this library, have been almost a daily visitor for about 6 months now. Our family rents a large number of movies, about 15-20 every few days. As someone who finds the library a safe place, my only critic has to be a few incredibly rude staff members. If they didn’t have the little kiosks to check out items yourself, I would not be a regular visitor here simply due to the attitude of staff. After my interaction with the front desk staff yesterday I’m no longer comfortable asking them for help...

The library was a great place for me to work in between my appointments, the only thing you need to be aware of is even though lots of people were taking loud, you may but taje any phone calls, or you will be reprimanded.
