🚤✨ Dockside restaurants own Minnesota summers, and Cabana Anna’s in Spring Park is proof. Right on Lake Minnetonka (with dock access + a lovely patio), this spot serves fine-dining-level food in a laid-back beachside setting. 🥗 Beet Salad w/ grilled shrimp – light, zesty, perfect starter 🍣 Salmon w/ roasted potatoes + sweet pea purée – rich & flavorful, total standout 🍕 Margherita Pizza – fresh, hand-tossed, classic 🍩 Frybread dessert – cinnamon sugar + salted caramel + maple mascarpone = perfection Whether you pull up by boat or car, this is the spot for a summer date night, family get-together, or just soaking up the lake vibes with incredible food. 🌊🍽 📍 Cabana Anna’s – Lake Minnetonka 🗓 Open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner 💡 Pro tip: Save room for dessert. Trust me. A big thank you to @tonkaboatrentals for the free food at Cabana Anna’s. We’ve been to Cabana Anna’s a few times now and it’s quickly become one of our favorite new spots on Lake Minnetonka. The lakeside location is beautiful and makes even a slower-paced meal feel like a relaxing experience. The sausage pizza with white sauce is absolutely incredible-it’s become a must-order every time we go. On our first visit, I had the chicken (a little dry, but the sauce more than made up for it-it was chef’s kiss). My husband got the smash burger and raved about it, and a friend who got the steak said it was also excellent. Pro tip: get that chicken sauce on the side no matter what you order! On another visit, I tried the Cobb salad-fresh, flavorful, and a great portion. A friend ordered the manchego salad and said it was her favorite dish so far. Most recently, we brought my brother and his kids, and while it’s not a typical kid-focused spot, they were super accommodating with a kids menu and crayons. The kids mac and cheese they got was honestly some of the best I’ve ever tasted-ultra creamy and comforting. Service has always been friendly and attentive. They’re still new, so sometimes the pace is a bit slow, but with that lake view, we really don’t mind. The only downside is the acoustics-it can get loud when it’s busy, so some sound-absorbing touches would go a long way. Overall, a great addition to the lake scene-delicious food, kind staff, and the kind of place you keep wanting to come back to. Can’t wait to return!

Newly opened eatery on lake Minnetonka, located within the Shoreline hotel. We made reservations for 8 at 6p for dinner and were seated outside- the view from their patio is wonderful and they have a boat docking area if you’d like to arrive via water. Parking was ample and clear instructions were provided of where to find the eatery downstairs. The menu is not large and focuses on interchangeable proteins with main dishes, shareable appetizers, and salads. They also have a nice cocktail and mocktail list which was great to see. Our table ordered various items such as the Wagyu smashburger, Beet Salad, and Herb-crusted chicken. Our table was a part of 8 and it took a considerable amount of time to be visited by our server for drink orders, dinner orders and delivery of our food. Once we had our items, everything tasted good and no one had feedback that their meals were served under temp, or problems with flavor. I personally would have the Beet salad every single day- it was light, refreshing and I appreciated that all the veggies and citrus added was at peak and didn’t taste overripe. Overall, the place is cute with its beach aesthetic. Some improvements to service could really improve the overall experience. I currently need to give it 3 stars but will visit again later once they’ve been open much longer.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!!! DO NOT COME!!! If I could rate negative stars, I would. I’m writing this on a Saturday, was here days ago Monday (Memorial Day) as a first timer. After days trying to get my refund (that was promised) and being given the run around , I’ve given up on them completely and decided to write here. I have to start by saying, I myself was a sever for 6+ years and am still a servicer to this day. I have NEVER been, or treated a client as I and my friend were at this establishment. I understand the area, they catered to those that looked like they had more than us (looks can be deceiving may I just remind) and that was expected happens a lot being young, in nicer places. But, to be completely ignored, and to the point that by the time the server got to us to actually take our order (waited 35 min for 2 drinks that’s from tap for $16 (tap cocktails are so lazy and have no business being priced that high, also what’s the point of a full bar with only tap cocktails available) and another 25 min just to get asked what we wanted. By that time, she was now out of everything (we watched all the tables she went to before us get everything they ordered, and we were left with nothing to order at 6pm) example all I wanted was a pizza and she said they were out of dough. (I literally told them I’d make it myself it’s 3 ingredients? She said haha no we don’t do that) We had already told her several times upon ordering drinks and after, that we were ready to order, and she continued to serve all others besides us. Even new tables, were asked for drinks before we were asked what we wanted for food. WE DROVE AN HOUR FOR NO FOOD AND OUT OF HALF THE COCKTAILS ALSO SOLD OUT BY 6PM?! on a literal holiday so business should have been expected, right? Mind you, the place was pretty empty. My friend had to settle on a burger, that was over advertised (better burger cheaper at smashburger, it was dripping in so much grease my friend couldn’t finish it and she’s finished every burger I’ve ever seen put in front of her) and two tap cocktails was $80. I told my server I don’t want to pay, she said we’d have to pay and call for a manager later. I called that night and they said call tomorrow. Called the next day and they said call in the evening, we’ve done that every single day and I’ve told one person the story, they said refund should be able to be sent they just need manager approval, but again no manager was available. I left my number as well and heard nothing directly. WHERE IS THE MANAGER?!? Where is literally anybody! And now I’ve wasted $80 plus gas, what a poor poor experience. I’ve never ever ever actually written a review but after this experience, I had to make this my first. Save your time and your money or hit one of the other amazing lakefront spots nearby. They might not be as fancy but they’ll surely take great...

Disappointing from Start to Finish – Poor Service, Bad Food, and Overpriced. Embarrassed I brought people here after talking up how we should try the new spot on the lake that's getting good reviews.

I decided to try this new restaurant with docks, hoping it would become a go-to spot to take my boat, so I made a reservation. Unfortunately, this place was a complete letdown across the board—from service to food quality to value.

After being seated, we waited 15 minutes without so much as a menu, while every table around us was getting drinks and service. I had to go up to the host stand and wait just for menus, which is something no customer should have to do.

Before, during, and after I went up for menus, we spoke to both a waiter and a bus boy who assured us they’d send our waitress over—but no one ever came. I eventually returned to the host stand and tried to speak to three waitresses who were standing around, but they looked at me then walked away as soon as they realized I was trying to talk to them. It took the manager stepping in to finally get someone to our table, and even then it was another few minutes.

Once someone finally arrived, we found out we had the wrong menus and could only order off the brunch menu, so we had to start over. Everything on it was wildly overpriced, but at least the descriptions sounded promising—unfortunately, the food itself was anything but.

The French toast was a disaster—burnt on the outside, undercooked and doughy in the middle, missing the pecans, and incredibly dense. Every dish the four of us ordered was aggressively over-salted, making it hard to enjoy anything. The $8 side of bacon consisted of just two small, poorly cooked strips. For that price, I’d expect thick-cut, properly crisped bacon—this was just lazy.

The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and figuratively. What should have been a pleasant lakeside lunch turned into a frustrating, overpriced waste of time. I was excited to find a new place to take the boat, but I left feeling ripped off, disappointed, and annoyed I even gave it a chance.

Save your time and money—there are far better options...

I desperately want to be Cabana Anna’s biggest fan! I live nearby, and of course, I love the name.

On my first visit, they were out of three of the items I tried to order. Not a huge deal, especially on a busy Memorial weekend—but it took 10–20 minutes each time for the server to let me know, so my food came out much later than the rest of my family’s. They were basically done eating by the time my meal arrived. The server also mentioned my meal would be comped, but it was still on the bill when we paid.

I went back for my birthday weekend two weeks later, hoping for a better experience. We arrived by boat at 2:30pm, excited for drinks and apps with a view. Unfortunately, we found out they serve brunch until 4pm on weekends, with no appetizer options beyond fruit plates and shrimp/ceviche. I’m not a shrimp fan, so it was pretty disappointing. We ask the waitress if there was anyway to get a pizza or any other app from the normal lunch/dinner menu and was told no. She was able to get us chips and salsa—which was $17, incredibly overpriced. They were also out of two cocktails we tried to order.

The small amount of food I’ve actually gotten to try has been quite good, and the views are some of the best on Lake Minnetonka. I’ll give it another shot in a month or so—hopefully with smoother kitchen/server communication and some added mid-afternoon app options on weekends. I will be happy to update this review to reflect future experiences.

Update: I went here a 3rd time, ordered a drink at the bar and the bartender made me the wrong one. Not sure I will be...
