Dolly's Delights — Restaurant in Spring Township

Very prompt response for a short notice cake(2wk notice) that I needed for a 10yr anniversary wedding photo shoot. I sent photos of my Bouquet and center pieces from my wedding hoping to get a cake that matched, unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. We had discussed what I wanted, she put some of the things on that were discussed but they were not what I had in mind. I had to prepay for a cake that I wasn't even able to see. I wish they would have sent me pictures and asked if I liked the cake or wanted to change anything. This was very expensive and in my opinion no where near worth the cost. The cake didn't even taste the way I expected for that kind of money. So 3 stars for being so great with response and working short notice but only 1 star for everything else. Just not...

Our daughter wanted an Edgar Allen Poe themed cake for her Sweet 16. She had something in mind and talked with Tera at Dolly’s Delights. And boy did she deliver. This is her cake…..EXACTLY as she envisioned it. Tara did an AMAZING job visually with this cake. Everyone was in awe at how beautiful it was. Then we cut it. This was THE most delicious, moist, perfectly wonderful cake we had ever had. Professional, sweet, courteous… just an all around wonderful experience. SUPER BIG SHOUT OUT TO Dolly’s Delights 🎂 you blew me completely out of the water with this cake. I contacted her 2 days before I needed the cake (super last minute party), all I asked for was a simple white cake and told her my theme. When I went to pick up the cake I was in complete shock when they handed me a beautiful beer mug shape cake that fit right in with my theme!!!!! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was delicious as always and the center of attention. If you are in the Berks county area please contact Tera for all you dessert needs!!!
