The Original Mama's Pizza and Grill Sinking Spring — Restaurant in Spring Township

I would like to say thank you for your outstanding customer service. Your staff turned a mistake into a 5 star review. I ordered a large pizza for delivery very close to closing. Unfortunately my pizza was burnt to the point that i wasnt happy with it. Some people prefer well done pies which is what it was. It wasnt burnt to a crisp but it was a little black on the bottom and had some burning on the top. Just enough that i wouldn't have enjoyed it. Of course it was now about 20 minutes before they were scheduled to close and i called to let them know that i wasnt happy with the pie. They offered to make me a new pie but it was 20 minutes before they were going to close so i said i would rather just send the pie back to which they offered me a store credit and keep the pie. I politely told them i had paid cash and would just prefer they bring my money back. The person on the phone was extremely polite and professional even while being frustrated that he had to address this right before he was done for the day. He asked me to hold and after about 10 seconds returned and said they would send the driver right back. He was there in 5 minutes and returned my money and told me to keep the pie. Called to order pizzas from being on the road from Lancaster heading back to northern Berks. Asked if this was the State Hill Rd location in Wyomissing. Girl taking orders quickly said yes. Placed the order and was told 40 minutes. Went to the State Hill Rd location and waited in car for a bit as I was early. Went inside but order was not there. They politely told me to try Shillington Road and follow another woman whose order was also there and had been told to go to Wyomissing store. Drove back that direction out of my way and told the girl at the register the problem. Asked why they would say “yes” to being the State Hill Rd location. No answer. She went and got the pizzas and while holding the boxes up in the air, has a quiet half smirked conversation with another female employee for like 20 seconds trying to use the boxes as a shield. I asked for the girl’s name who took my order and the girl then said she didn’t know. Good pizza so 1 Star but really poor customer service. Made me feel crappy. No apology given....

Went with my 6 year old son for some pizza. I knew mama's had mediocre pizza but figured I'd be fine with a meatball sub. The music was for some reason very loud slow love songs from the 90s/2000s and when I say loud I mean I couldn't hear the person taking my order at the counter.

We sat down as far from the speakers as we could so we could hear each other (we would have sat outside if it wasn't cold) and had a nice time chatting, except for once In a while someone would startlingly scream "DRIVER" at full volume, likely to be heard over the music. My son had his slice of pizza in 3 minutes, which was excellent, my sub took 20 minutes, and wasn't done until I went up to the counter to ask about it.

The sub was fine, decent bread, toasted, not a ton of meatballs (quartered, medium size) and a lot of cheese on top that was only 3/4 melted. ...
