Lady who was taking our order was expressionless and mumbled the whole time. She did the first portion of our order and sent our boxes down to a guy who was supposed to finish them up. When I asked for shrimp tempura, he went to go grab some from the fridge and never came back to finish our orders. The girl who initially started our order came back over to us to finish the order. When she rang us up, she didn’t offer us any sauces or ask if we wanted drinks… so customer service was lacking. My husband, son, and daughter all had their boxes of food ready to go but mine was still being worked on for the shrimp tempura. So she bagged the 3 already made meals up and said she’d bring it all to us when it was ready. About 10 minutes go by and the entire time I’ve noticed there’s at least two other families looking to the kitchen as if they’re also waiting for food. They were clearly annoyed. Both families were there well before my family was. One of those families got their food after us. They probably waited almost 30 minutes for theirs. Anyway, I went up to the counter and asked if I could at least have the boxes that were already made so my family could eat, and the guy handed them over to me and asked what my meal was. I let him know and he replied okay. Another 5 minutes goes by and people are getting their food right away and leaving. Manager is finally at the register at this point and getting his team responsive. They were very sluggish when he wasn’t present, but when he came in you could hear him calling to the staff to respond to him and get moving. Anyway, after 15 minutes I finally got my food. Shrimp tempura was warm but steak was cold. My husband and kids food was also cold by the time it was given to them. Macaroni salad did not taste anything like authentic Hawaiian mac. Tasted almost like it had ranch as the sauce. Steak was tough, shrimp tempura had bits of uncooked batter, chicken was bland and dry. They have little crates for you to return any unopened sauce to to help reduce waste which initially seems great, until you consider the fact that one of those crates is right in front of a window and baking in the hot sun that is directly hitting the crate. From our visit alone (between ordering, waiting, and eating) the sauce was there at least 45 minutes in that heat...
Read moreI recently stopped by the Mo’ Bettahs on Buffalo and Flamingo, and I have to say, the experience was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the regular plate with double katsu chicken and extra mac salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The katsu chicken was cooked perfectly — crispy on the outside with a golden crunch, yet juicy and flavorful on the inside. You could really taste the care that went into making it.
The mac salad deserves its own shout-out.it’s creamy, well-seasoned, and has that classic Hawaiian comfort food feel. I love that they don’t skimp on portions either; everything was served fresh, hot, and generous. The plate felt like a complete, satisfying meal that hits every craving.
The staff at this location were friendly, patient, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, made sure my order was right, and the service was quick even though they were fairly busy. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well-maintained the kind of environment that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your food rather than rush out.
Overall, this Mo’ Bettahs location has earned a spot on my list of favorite places in Las Vegas for a casual but high-quality meal. Whether you’re craving katsu, teriyaki, or just some authentic Hawaiian comfort food, this spot delivers every time. I’ll definitely be coming back soon for another plate (and extra mac...
Read moreI came up to go through the front to order and there’s A lot of unhoused people begging out front so I decided it would be safer to go through the drive-through( no shade to the unhoused, but it puts me in an uncomfortable position) . I went through the drive-through and ordered the mini plate with the teriyaki it was listed at $10 and some change and besides for the kids menu it looked like the best option I got to the window and they told me it was $20. The guys at the counter was so mean also when I asked nicely a question about why the bill was so high. He was pompous and pretentious. The menu is unclear with pricing states like only going to pay $10-20 but I’d say you’re more likely to pay $20 -35 per person. even with the “mini” order of food. And not including a drink. I’ve had the food here before, but between the rude service and decent at best food, I’d rather go to L and L across the street. They have better options like amazing poke and prices with better...
