Thai Taste — Restaurant in Springdale

We tried this for lunch for the first time, and we are so happy we did! The staff was friendly, the service was good, and we received our meals very quickly. We ordered an appetizer of crab rangoons which were light, crispy and amazing. My husband got the teriyaki chicken lunch special, and I had the chicken curry special, and we both were very surprised at how much food we got on our plates. With the lunch special you get a huge portion of rice, main entree, sauteed vegetables, and an egg roll. Everything was so good. The curry was excellent, the rice sticky and creamy like it should be. The vegetables were a little harder than I like, but that is usually how most orientals cook their vegetables, and they were pretty good. The egg roll was more of a spring roll, but I prefer that. I would definitely try this place again, and her menu is huge! I'm sure there is something for everyone. ATTENTION everyone!!! Please avoid this place if you don't want to be charged TWICE for the tax! We ordered the foods here for dinner, the foods were ok, but when we checked out, they added tax on EVERY dish we ordered (more than $1 for every dish, the more you order, the more they charge for their made-up taxes) , then they combined all items, then add another 9.75% tax for the total. This is scam and illegal. When I asked the cashier, she avoided to answer and told me to call their POS company, this is ridiculous. When your customer asked for an explanation, you should have been able to explain instead of claiming for the POS company. Here is the copy of my receipt. $5.88 is not a big deal, but it is illegal to charge tax on every dish then add another tax for the total of the bill. If they do this to 100 people, they will get more than $500 for what they don't sell nor do. Please BE CAREFUL when you come to this dishonest business if you don't want to be charged TWICE...

What an incredible experience! Having been to many Thai and laos restaurants globally, it amazes me that I found my favorite one not too far from where I live. The food here is of the upmost quality, the flavor of each dish was outstanding. The service and atmosphere was also pretty great. The place was busy with customers constantly coming in and smiling as they got their dishes. I got Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and chicken dumplings as an appetizer, and without a doubt these were the best drunken noodles and dumplings I've had in my life.
