China Wok — Restaurant in Springfield Township

I used to order from this place frequently, as it is the only Chinese food available to me within a reasonable distance. I will say this: when the food is fresh, it is very good. Also, they deliver quickly most of the time. Unfortunately, on several occasions they have delivered what was obviously reheated leftovers. I almost always order Sesame Chicken, and anyone who has microwaved Sesame Chicken leftovers knows the unmistakeable difference between fresh and re-heated. If you haven't eaten here before, I would recommend giving it a chance, because when the food is fresh, it is great. What I REALLY hope, however, is that the owner sees this review and chooses to go back to ALWAYS serving customers fresh food. Serving leftovers to customers is not the way to cut costs if you want your business to survive. So I ordered food from this restaurant, last night and had doordash deliver. Doordash is awesome! However, this restaurant is not. I spent $43. Not that big of a deal on the cost. However, the food was only worth about $5. My fiance ordered the chicken fried rice and I ordered the bourbon chicken with fried rice. The rice was so dry that it was like eating a sponge. The bourbon chicken had no flavor whatsoever. I had to drench my rice in bourbon sauce, which did not taste like bourbon sauce and my fiance had to drench her rice in soy sauce. The food was bad. After ordering the food, it got to us within like 15 to 20 minutes. I could tell that the rice was already pre-made and so was the bourbon chicken. The food was not hot. save your money and order somewhere else. ordered sesame chicken and crab ragoons. was delivered in about 15 mins or less (i live about 5 min drive away). impossible to have been cooked fresh.

wasnt a piece of crab to be found, only white flavorless mush. chicken was chewy, grey and mushy too. overall tasted like baby food. i tried to get through as much as i could, since i hadnt eaten much today, but threw 95% of it away.

edit: also it was impossible to find the full menu online, only could find about 20 item menu. found out why after i got the paper menu, has over 150 things on it. hard to keep your food fresh with so many items to sell through. this place would need to have a line out the door to keep rotating fresh product and...
