Coffee Expressions, LLC — Restaurant in Springfield

Coffee expressions hands down has to be probably one of the best coffee places anywhere within a 50 mi radius let's say of Springfield. It's not a very big coffee shop but it's big enough they have pretty much all of the amenities you would expect to find in a small coffee shop with the Wi-Fi places to plug in your electronics places to sit and be comfortable television etc. every single one of the staff members I've ever been served by or dealt with at all has been absolutely what I imagine a barista should be. Polite very prompt usually pretty detailed and ask questions about what you want in your drink. The place is kept pretty clean they have a small bathroom or two.... Also clean. I'm not a big coffee drinker but I like to have one of these drinks with an extra shot of espresso instead of the gallons of energy drinks I typically go through. The location being on plum Street and McCreight is nice. Seeing as how I work full time 2nd shift hours on the east side of town and then also do a welding and fabrication business on the west side of town, they are conveniently located right in the middle. I feel like the pricing is fair on the drinks, quality ingredients and service, and honestly for whatever reason I feel more welcome whereas a lot of times when I walk into Starbucks or other fancy food places, I feel out of place. Coffee expressions is classy But does well to make a dirty old redneck feel welcome to come get his sissy foo foo coffee drink to enjoy in the shop...

I love coming here. The staff is friendly in addition to having a lot of different combinations, all tasteing amazing. The music was a little loud for my liking but I think it would be a nice place to just sit and chill also being your coffee and reading a book or working on something.

What I was most impressed with was when my girlfriend and I went there one morning and there was a long line but I was watching this loan barista. I don't know if she was working alone that morning, but she was the only one up there. She was absolute beast! She was taking the orders, making the coffees, one after another- very fast, very efficiently. It's was quite a sight to behold. She wasn't just pouring coffee either. She was making the frozen drinks, cleaning the containers out, making espresso, dumping used grounds, and serving people. She even still had time to make a little heart shape on top of the coffees. An absolute machine!

TLDR: This place has the perfect trifecta- great tasting coffee drinks , good prices, and an amazing staff. That is extremely hard to find. It's also a small business so I highly recommend stopping by and supporting it. 😊

We were on our way to do some shopping and really needed some coffee and breakfast to fuel up. We had been by this store several times and decided to stop in. We were welcomed at the door with a friendly greeting. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a latte and a Caffè mocha. The mocha I ordered sugar-free. I couldn't tell it didn't have sugar in it. It was delicious. The latte was rich and smooth as well. We ordered a cinnamon roll and a turnover to eat. I was a little disappointed that the cinnamon roll was not warm, but the flavor was really good. The turnover was good as well. We would have liked to eat outside but the only outside table was taken. There looked like plenty of seats inside, but it was too nice to sit inside. One thing I did note was that the throws on the couch needed a good wash. Overall, the service was top shelf. Food and drink were great and a decent atmosphere. I will be back.

Had the opportunity to stop in again. As the owner stated, nice new furniture inside to sit on. Still great coffee and service was top shelf as before. Upping my score on the atmosphere...
