Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

I work at Navistar and we has a timed 30 minute lunch. I ordered pizza and salad at 10:00 to be delivered to the gate at 11:45. Per the pizza tracker, pizza checked at 11:22 for freshness. Tracker changed at 11:58, 13 minutes AFTER the requested time and did not arrive until 12:13. No apology and it was ice cold. Called the store and manager stated he was too busy to call to say it would delayed and only said there were multiple orders to Navistar and he was unsure why driver did not take my pizza. He was not helpful and would only say they were short drivers that day. No points or replacement pizza. The identical issue happened today with my co workers. No apologies, nothing. I am a former Domino's manager (25 yrs of employment) It's very hard to impress me with customer service when I order from a Domino's. My order was not right from the E. Main St store & it's been on a consistent basis. No one was answering the phone (during open hrs) when I tried to call & get my food right. I called the Home Rd store and talked to Sarah. Not only did she hear what I had to say, she offered to replace my order from her store. I know this comes out of HER food cost & bonus and not E. Main St where it should be. I am HIGHLY impressed with Sarah and her customer service skills. Every store mgr needs to follow her lead!! Thank you Sarah!! The Villa road crew always does an awesome job. I had to drop my rating from a five-star to a three-star at this location. I've been using Domino's for 15 years. They read you find their delivery area and I am 1/8 of a mile out of their Circle and they will no longer deliver to me. I believe this was a management decision not a driver decision. Drivers I feel sorry for you, because you have lost loyal customer basis. Just more management decisions of big corporations in the US. I want pick up a pizza from Domino's anywhere in the USA. Locally I will drive one mile to Little Caesars and purchase my hot and ready pizzas from Little Caesars. Adios...
