There food is fine, but I'm primarily writing about their breakfast burritos. Bacon burrito does not actually use crispy breakfast-bacon, more like chunks of ham. They use too much potato filler and the cheese tends to get all clumped into pockets. I tried their breakfast burrito again today, just because it's been a while, and I was reminded why I haven't been there, and won't be going back again for their breakfast burrito. Typically I will eat an entire burrito even though it's more than one person needs (before going on a long bike ride), but this time I ate a little more than half and simply decided to throw away the rest, it's just not good. The breakfast burrito lacks any decent flavor, it is rather bland.
Without being that guy, there is another establishment only about a mile further east on main st. in Springfield that offers IMO a far superior breakfast burrito.
Otherwise, some of their tacos and non-breakfast burritos are good, but again, the other establishment about 1 mile east is...
Read moreI only wish I could give the rating 0 stars. Went in & ordered a simple burrito to go, got home just to find they put cheese in it when I said no cheese, there was no rice in it when I paid for rice, very little lettuce when I asked for extra. I gave it to a grateful homeless gal. I called, spoke w/Yara (or Llara, Yaria...not sure) and she said they'd replace it the next time I came in. I go in 2 weeks later (calling ahead) & when my burrito was done, they wouldn't give me more than 2 little green salsas and a comment Yara made, "We're already giving you a free burrito." Ummm excuse me? Horrible customer service. What's wrong with giving me extra salsa when you're making up for YOUR mistake? Seriously. Then every time I call & politely ask to talk to either the manager or owner, I get hung up on. Also, this morning, a lady who answered ask where I am? Not relevant & none of your business...creepy. Don't waste your time or money there. Very rude, disrespectful, & not good...
Read moreAwesome food for a fair price. The portions are always generous, and food is delicious. The people here are usually nice, sometimes theyre a little pushy during dinner rush. They have good specials everyday, and you can tell this is a tighly knit family restaurant with heart and soul. They have good hours of operation, and even if you walk in last minute, theyll gladly cook your food fresh and graciously. This is my favorite mexican restaurant in town for to-go ordering. They do have a dining area, but its not full service and not meant for long stays, since they focus on quick customers that come and go at the adjacent bus station. They have bottled and fountain drinks, along with horchata and flan. If you're interested in quick, good priced, authentic mexican food, this is the...
