Didn't get the "full experience" when we visited, so that's why the three star review, but will update it once I've gone back. We stopped in here on a whim one evening, as we were driving past and were starving. Little did we know that they were closed, but the side door we went in hadn't been locked yet. When we came in, we noticed the place was empty, however the server behind the counter immediately greeted us with us a smile, instead of an annoyed "should've locked that damn door" look. There was very little pizza left in the case, so we ordered a couple slices, bread sticks, salads, and drinks. After getting our drinks and sitting down, we noticed the one other person working getting our salads from a bin that he pulled from a fridge. That's when it started sinking in, so I casually walked over to the front door and looked at their hours sign, and whispered to my husband, "ummm, they actually closed twenty minutes ago!" The server gave us our food, and the two cleaned up while we hurriedly (and embarrassingly) ate. Originally, I would've said the selection was horrible and the food was "end of day, sat under the warmer too long" not great, but given the fact that they were closed, I can't give an informed opinion on the food. But the fact that the two employees didn't shoo us out, didn't act annoyed, but happy, and didn't even mention that they were closed, was impressive and endearing. I'll definitely be going back, when they're open, as I feel they've more than earned my business, and hopefully the food will live up to the...

Told me to get in the line that was ordering which was a 20 minute atleast line. While my order was sitting there done. The staff litteraly ignored me and wouldn't acknowledge me till i had to get in way of the 7th customer she helped. Was very rude and gave this location its 3rd strike. I have tried the other location and never a problem.... kids always running the springfield location. Never smooth and chaotic. Ive been there a good amount, Not just 3 times. The crust and the other location was why i kept giving the Springfield location a chance.... learn customer service and...
Read moreOkay I make it a point to never post bad reviews. I usually only post about good experiences because I want to keep positive vibes flowing through the universe. However today I went to Mezza Luna’s for lunch in Springfield. I picked up a salad and a slice. The pizza wasn't heated long enough, but it was tasty. When I opened up the Caesar salad, most of the lettuce was orange at the edges. All were wilted. The croutons were soggy. It’s when I pulled a very long, dark, colored hair. I called Mezza and was told they would write me in the book and I said no you need to see this. I drove back down there. They admitted that a worker on the weekend had that color or hair. Okay… in what world is it okay to pack up a dressed Caesar salad over the weekend and sell it a day or two later? I wouldn’t even do that at home. They offered to make me a fresh salad but I said I had lost...
