First I never rate off service because servers come and go. Also wouldn't recommend bringing kids!

To the service was the best service in Springfield! Zack and Adam where on top of everything! Everything cam at the right speed, I didn't have to top off my own water( I drink a lot of water) and where very knowledgeable about every little thing on the menu!

My wife and I both had a Manhattan and they where made perfect. Not sweet with the perfect amount of kick, like a Manhattan should have. We started with two snacks, the bread & butter and the meat & cheese. The bread & butter was good but the butter wasn't at room temperature and the bread was just warm. So it was hard to spread. The flavor was good could taste the salt flak in the butter.

Than we had the meat and cheese which had to be the best thing on the menu! The meats had a great range of flavors, from slightly spicy to meat that finished buttery. The cheese was fantastic as well. It went from dry to cream and soft. I am sure that the meats and cheese changes monthly but the lay out didn't disappoint! Would hope to go back and see more unique meats and cheese on their plate!

Finally we finished withe the truffles and berries. The home made whip cream had a lemon zest to it which went perfect with the fresh blackberries. The truffles where good. I am just not a big truffle person.

All In all I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends. Has to be the most upscale place in...

Update: Since writing this review, they have transitioned to only meats & cheeses and desserts for their food options.

Great food and atmosphere unlike anything in town locally. You should come here if you haven’t tried it yet! What a hip little gem. They really care about the quality of food they are putting out. And the wine we had was delicious. Saw a couple of Old Fashioned’s being whipped up at the bar, which was full when we arrived a little before 8pm on a Tuesday (they were testing new hours).

We are so happy a place like this opened up here! Kudos! And they were so welcoming.

The ambiance is so moody… you’re met with purifying plants at the entrance, deep green walls, and an eclectic collection of art throughout. A slender bar room opens to a secluded, dimly lit and soothing dining room. And they have French films playing with subtitles in the dining room (but it isn’t obnoxious or overly noticeable…).

Love this place… great service, awesome upscale yet approachable and artsy-eclectic style and cozy-moody ambiance without being stale and pretentious. I can see this place going a long way in this area. We will be back 100%....

Mystic Picnic in downtown Springfield, TN is a true gem and a must visit! The owners Zach and Adam have created a special place that is unlike any place I have ever been. Their cocktail menu is exceptional, offering creative and perfectly balanced drinks that highlight both classic and modern flavors. I have to say they make the best Old Fashioned I have ever had. Whiskey and bourbon lovers are in for a treat with an impressive selection from Tennessee and Kentucky. The curated wine list is fantastic and offers wines from all over the world. Highly recommend their Meat & Cheese, house Rosemary Focaccia and Ruby Chocolate Tart too! The attention to detail, from the drinks to the ambiance, makes Mystic Picnic an ideal spot for a night out! If you are in the Nashville area, it’s absolutely worth the 30 minute...
