Plaza Mexico — Restaurant in Springfield

My dad and i went here last night to grab some drinks and some food. We sat at the bar and while we were even waiting to be asked what we would like (15 minutes btw) i seen a waitress in the back SNEEZE ON A DRINK look around to see if anyone seen it and then put it on the tray and walk out with it. WHAT THE HELL. Then were still waiting and a girl finally asks us what we would like, we say 2 strawberry margaritas. She acts like she’s never even Hurd of a margarita, it was supposed margarita night...? She starts talking to 2 waitresses. They all together make 1 and then asked, oh did you want 2? We had already said that. Anyways the margarita was DISQUSTING. It tasked like straight up watered down strawberry kool-aid you could taste that there was no or veeeery little alcohol in it. Anyways, my dad drank half of his, i couldn’t get past the first 3 sips because it gave a horrible brain freeze from the sugar..... also there were cords everywhere i even seen a power strip with every single one filled up connected to another power strip i mean it looks like a fire hazard to me...... we will not be going back...

ok so we had my Grandma's 80th bday here. I was tempted to leave a bad review Because they did not give us good service But I did notice think of the rest of the rest of the restaurant good service And I'm not sute how the service would have been for us If they had been given the right Information about our party My aunt was in charge of setting up the location And she told them we had a party of 15 So when we arrived they did have a backroom And tables set up for 15 people and a waitress waiting.Well there was over 40 of us So they were not staffed or prepared for a party of that size I so it took forever to get anything. But I believe that if they had been given the right information That they would have given great service One plus side that I can say Is that we did have a backroom And we were extremely loud I felt very comfortable They even have couches back there, So I would definitely recommend them for a party But I would definitely recommend Making sure that you know how many people will be...

Disappointing food and I paid $40 for two people to end up sick. Thanks but no thanks.

Last night, I didn't go to bed until 3 AM because I started having stomach and intestinal issues about 6 hours after eating. I would have dismissed it, except it's been 24 hours and I'm still having issues. Also, my friend started having similar symptoms a little earlier than I did and is still having issues.

My friend had the burrito with beef, potatoes, and an incredibly spicy sauce that made his eyes water and his nose run. He liked it but said it wasn't anything special. He ordered the $8 margarita which wasn't really worth it; mostly margarita mix and very little tequila. I had the tamale plate; the tamales were small and salty, the beans were cold and salty, and the Spanish rice was salty. The only things we ate in common were the guacamole and lettuce salads that came with our entrees, and the chips and salsa.
