The Backlot — Restaurant in Springfield

The Backlot is actually pretty good food. I had the Springfield cashew chicken and I would have to say it's in my top 10. It was very flavorful and met all of the yummy goodness you expect from Springfield style cashew chicken. My wife had the chips and queso with chorizo it's probably one of the best chips and dip that I've ever had. The only issue that we had that prevents his place from getting a five stars they had some issues in the kitchen getting her food out. But the staff is really nice and helped us out really well. The food at the Alamo is generally great. I do have to note that the last 2 times we ordered the cauliflower buffalo wings, they were room temperature and tasted like they had been originally cooked in a microwave.
