I’ve seen this place for a few years when staying nearby in Little Switzerland, NC. I was curious how good the seafood would be in a mountain town so far from the coast. It’s really very good. Service is prompt and caring. The atmosphere is clean, very casual…some small gestures at the nautical theme. I had a fried combo with jumbo shrimp, oysters, hush-puppies, slaw, baked potato. Potato was raw and needed to have went at least another 30 minutes and tarter sauce was just mayonnaise and nothing else. They have raised the prices yet AGAIN. It's just ridiculous when you can go to Asheville one of the most expensive areas around and pay less for more food. The portions are tiny at anchors away. $15 for ONE piece of fish and a half a tiny handful of shrimp and $3 for a drink. If you are going to be stupid and pay the prices here.. go to harbor inn where the outlets are in Asheville. It's CHEAPER and no joke 3x the amount of food. Like they give you enough for 2 full meals and the foods just...
