If you ever find yourself in this part of Idaho, which you should, stop by for some of the best bbq you will ever have. From the brisket to the ribs to the pulled pork, everything satisfied everyone’s palate. The fries were fresh and just right. The max and cheese hits just right. The store may be small and we almost missed it if it hadn’t been for our friend who pointed out the bbq sign. But thank god we came in, or we would have missed this awesome opportunity to have a great meal! It’s clean, has a hospitable staff, and bbq approved by a Texan outside of Texas! The owners are super nice and were even kind enough to show/start up their green truck out front. I definitely want to come back next time I’m in this part of the country.

What a surprise for us, traveling from Georgia to Yellowstone and then to family in Idaho n Utah, when we stumbled onto the hidden oasis of deliciousness. The atmosphere is laidback and friendly and the owners are as delightful as the fare is scrumptious. We ordered additional dishes, takeouts, for family members in neighboring Sugar City, after having been so pleasantly surprised by the perfectly prepared dishes we experienced, ribs and brisket. The deserts are excellent as well. We are a bit biased because we felt an immediate connection with the owners, whom we had never met before. Just great chemistry. You may have to seek it out since it’s a bit secluded, but it’s definitely worth the time n effort.

We got the new york strip steak. It was a little overcooked and a little tough. For a BBQ place we expected it to be a little more tender. The steak however had a really good flavor. The restaurant looks new and the decor is nice. Very clean and comfortable. We went back a day later for a 2nd time and had a brisket plate and a brisket sandwich. The brisket was some of the best we've ever had. Amazing. Loved the mac n cheese too. This is a place that you need to eat at!!!

We went there intending to try a bunch of different stuff. But then everybody was craving brisket, so 3 of the 4 had brisket and I had ribs. Fortunately a customer right behind us ordered kebab, which we didn't know was a special menu item. So we ordered one of those to try. Overall, the brisket was fantastic, the ribs were literally falling apart tender, the cowboy beans were just chewy enough and not super hot, the potato salad was as expected, the fries were fresh cut, and the kebab was OK. (The brisket and ribs were so tender that the kebab--as you might expect from the way they're cooked--seemed tough in comparison. But the kebab flavor was good.) I'm very glad there's a good BBQ place nearby. We look forward to many meals there. Oh, and the staff there treated us like family, even though it was our first time. Clearly every other customer in there was a regular, based on how they were greeting each other. That's...
