I've driven by this restaurant for 13 years and never stopped. I decided to take my six-year-old son here for breakfast today. I inquired about a couple of menu items with our server which included asking if the Reuben was lean and tender. The answer I got was I don't know I'm not sure but it's popular. Then I asked about the chili and was told simply "it's chili". The server had never tried either of these items and did not bother to find out the answers to my questions. I ordered a hot meatloaf sandwich and the gravy was the worst overly thick cheap Gloppy gravy I've ever been served. My son's hash browns had a pool of oil on the plate. But our server never returned to check on the quality of the food once the food was delivered. So we were stuck with what we had. Upon paying at the register the cashier asked if everything was okay and my reply was no it was not. Her reply to that was nothing more than I'm sorry about that. I asked to speak to the manager about my concerns and the cashier went into the kitchen looking for him and came back and said he is too busy right now. In my opinion any restaurant should have a manager or supervisor available to hear guest concerns when needed. My assumption based on my experience is the cashier is not trained to care about Guest comments, the server was not trained to stop back at our table a few minutes after food delivery to ensure everything was correct. I also assume that since there was no manager to speak to that my comments really did not matter at all. So I told the cashier I will be leaving a review based on my experience and she said okay. I will continue driving past this restaurant in my future travels and will never...

The Copper Kitchen Restaurant has become one of our go-to weekend spots for breakfast or lunch. This family-owned gem offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the community as soon as you walk in. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is usually fast, even when they’re busy on the weekends.
The menu has a great variety of both classic and unique comfort foods. My personal favorite is the chicken fried steak, which comes with fluffy biscuits, eggs cooked just the way I like them, and crispy hash browns. It’s a hearty, satisfying meal that hits the spot every time. My wife loves the “Commercial”—an open-faced roast beef sandwich smothered in savory gravy and served with mashed potatoes. It’s comfort food at its finest.
One of the things I really appreciate is that the Copper Kitchen offers gluten-free bread options. This makes it an ideal place for our family, as we have a few different dietary needs to accommodate. The ability to customize meals without sacrificing taste is a big plus.
The reason for four stars instead of five is simply because seating can be a bit tight during peak hours, and sometimes there’s a short wait. That said, it’s always worth it.
Overall, Copper Kitchen is a reliable and delicious choice for anyone craving a classic diner-style meal with a thoughtful twist. We’ll definitely keep...
Read moreI think most any other day this place may have gotten a 5 star. The only reason they didn't is the noise in the place and I think the server was having a bad day.
Noise level was extremely high. That said there was a large group on the other side of the place and the acoustics seemed bad. Not much they could do to deal with it. It was a very busy place. But the food was good.
The server seemed a little put off by the hostess taking our drink orders as well as when we told her we needed a minute to look at the menu. Just not the bubly personality as the hostess or the other servers in the place. She wasn't rude or anything just gave off a vibe like she was having a bad day. Hence the reason only 1 star lost. Also I asked for syrup when our food was delivered to which I got a funny look but never got the syrup. That was ok though because I ended up not needing it. I understand having a bad day but 5 stars is a hard thing to earn. The server did the bare minimum to earn a good rating.
All was forgotten when the food came out. All 3 of us enjoyed our breakfast. I highly recommend the locally sourced sausages.
I will hopefully give them a shot again but if the atmosphere is the same I...
