Subway — Restaurant in St. Cloud

If you are trying to decide between the subways in St. Cloud this one is by far the one you should choose. The service was quick, and I mean in-out service. The store was the most clean subway I have ever been too which is saying a lot because I frequently travel across the us. The food was fresh and delicious (we ordered 2 footlong subs both on Italian herbs and cheese bread). Both of our bread was fluffy and loaded with toppings. The chicken was moist and juicy and not dry like most subways, which was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was very good on the subs too. They were fantastic in helping get me the great garlic with the aioli as it’s no longer on the menu (a make or break it menu item for me) We also wanted cookies and I guess we came on a good day because it was free cookie Friday, also that is something I believe is exclusive to this subway as I’ve never heard of a free cookie Friday elsewhere. The cookies were fresh and delicious, and were well separated for allergens. On the topic of allergens we have 2 major allergies fish and tree nuts and this subway was very helpful and made sure there was no cross contamination. The whole staff was extremely kind and welcoming to us (2/28/25 around lunch) and probably aren’t getting paid enough to be that kind honestly. So I very much appreciate the workers at the time we went as they made me feel very confident that when I’m in the area I will go out of my way to eat at this subway again. Also bonus because parking was free and we had no trouble getting a spot to park and was highly accessible for people with disabilities. I wanted to take the survey for this restaurant in order to tell management about a worker that was extremely helpful to me during my visit, but I am unable to take the survey because I lost my receipt so I am doing this review instead. I visited this restaurant on January 1, 2018 around 6:30 p.m. It was at least -15 degrees. I was traveling through town alone with my two daughters (2 1/2 years and 3 months) the man working (Rob, maybe??) came around from behind the counter to hold the door for me. He pointed me to the bathrooms, which are located outside. I came back into the restaurant and said I was unable to get into the bathroom. My 2 year old really needed to use the bathroom so I was just going to leave and go elsewhere as there was a line of people having subs prepared. I headed towards my car to leave but the gentleman came running outside and unlocked the door for me so I could get into the bathroom (keep in mind, it was 15 below).This was extremely helpful as I was lugging around two children in beyond freezing temps.

I also watched this same guy be very patient with several customers who were very indecisive, give one person a sample of a sauce to try and one customer that asked him to ring up sandwiches about 3 different ways before they paid. Lastly, he prepared a great tasting sandwich for me and gave my daughter a cookie. This worker really went above and beyond while I was at the restaurant. Guy hates it when you come in at 8:30 when it closes at 10. And even if it is open he gets pissed when u come in after 8:30 that’s when he puts everything away. And you cancel my order on DoorDash at 8:45 pm. Lazy. Good sandwiches but definitely bad customer service. This is an ongoing issue. Stop closing early or change your hours period. I was literally so sick today and wanted to order a sandwich from subway on DoorDash. They cancel my order at 8:45 and I didn’t get the coupon from DoorDash that they offered and it disappeared all because they canceled the order. I’m pretty sure it disappeared because they thought it was used before they refunded my order. Wish DoorDash would completely do a different location when I order I hate this subway location.
