Finally! A place with great breakfast burritos!
UPDATE! 1/10/19 Love the food, hate the customer service. Went in for a breakfast burrito this morning, ordered a steak burrito (at 7 am), and lady said it came with guac and pico, if that's ok? I looked at the board and said or doesn't say it comes with those but sure. She rang it up and I questioned the amount and she said the burrito is $7.75. I said board says 6.75 but ok. I had ordered to go, got home, opened my burrito and it definitely was not a breakfast burrito. I immediately called them and the same lady said she rang it up correct and if I had wanted a breakfast burrito I should have specified that (even though I had questioned 2 things about the order). After an awkward pause she said I could come back in, get a new burrito and she wouldn't charge me for it. Can they deliver it? No. Come in for a new one. I drive back over there and it's a new lady but she knows about the issue and asks for the old burrito. Told her I didn't bring it, I just want the breakfast burrito I originally came in for. She said she can't give me a new one without the old one. WHAT?! You can't just give me a burrito? No, it's policy (and points to a sign hung on the wall). You're going to make me go home, get the burrito I didn't order (and was over charged for) and come back a 3rd time so you can throw the old burrito in the garbage before you give me the burrito I wanted? Yes, sorry. She should have told you that in the phone. I left without a burrito that I wanted. No matter how good the food is, it's customer service like that that'll ruin...
Read moreFinding a good late-night spot for Mexican food can be a challenge, but this place has become a reliable option. Even when it's past typical dinner hours, their drive-thru is still going strong, which is a huge convenience. On my recent late-night visit, I decided to try a couple of their specialties. The pork tamales were definitely a highlight. They were well-seasoned, and the pork filling was tender and flavorful, encased in a nicely textured masa. It felt like a genuinely comforting and authentic dish. I also sampled their birria tacos. The slow-cooked beef was rich and savory, and the consomé for dipping added another layer of flavor that was really enjoyable. The tortillas were nicely griddled, adding a bit of crispness to the experience. Another great aspect of this spot is their selection of Jarritos soft drinks. It's always nice to have those authentic Mexican flavors to choose from to complement the meal. Overall, this establishment offers a solid late-night option for Mexican food lovers. The pork tamales and birria tacos are particularly noteworthy, and the availability of Jarritos makes it an even more appealing choice. If you're looking for some flavorful Mexican fare late in the evening, this place is worth...
Read moreTheir food is pretty good. Although I'm not a fan of an older woman who works there. I also had a friend with me another one of the times I went there and dealt with her and she absolutely didnt like this lady either! So I knew it was not just me. I went and made an order one day, and I was unclear of the order afterwards and didnt realize there was guac on the carne asada tacos and asked for no onions. Then I got 3 tacos with guac and cilantro and I immediately brought them back up to the counter and asked if she could have them remade cause I dont like guac at all and she said that's how I ordered it and I get what I order. I was bummed. I said "can you please remake them cause i wont eat them like this ill have to just throw them out" and she finally did it after I practically begged, but was very rude about it and said next time I need to know what im ordering. Had I been at mcdonalds or applebees or burger king or anywhere else they would've remade it with no problem or questions asked. So other than that one woman making me not want to even go there, the food is good for one of the only authentic mexican "fast foods" in st cloud. The price is a little high but it's okay. I would recommend it if that lady isn't...
