The app is not working on my husband's phone. We placed an order on my phone. He went to pick up the order. We have done this over 10+ times with proof of doing so since January. He said the voice code, then they said to go to the window. He pulled up to the window, they said to provide the app info because it looks like the gps says the phone is far away. He said one moment while I pull up the screenshot because i have the information my wife did it and we have paid already. The employee then proceeded to ask him to pull up to the next window, to open the app himself to the manager, that they would not accept a screenshot, my husband said it's my wife phone. He called me while this was occuring because not only do i have cancer he has many TBIs so he can not handle this information. I answered the phone to a woman rudely saying something along the lines of "if your wife & her phone placed the order you can go get them and that then come back." He said we already paid we have done this before why do I have to go home get my wife and come back to get our food we paid for. They then said that then your wife needs to be here and provide that information with her phone not you. She slammed the window shut. My husband was still speaking to me, I didn't realize they shut the window yet, i was asking him for a receipt of the order being cancelled and he said they slammed the window. I called back when he was driving home when confronted with a horrible answer with a woman answering hello mcdonalds manager then i said may i ask your name so i can dislose mine and vulnerable information from our experience today. She said she doesnt need to provide her name. I said well i find it very hard to speak to someone as a customer, reveal my information or ask for help if i dont even know who is helping me, or if they have this attitude, dont even answer the phone with basic customer service training, saying name, how may i help you etc. I then said when i was trained in customer service, i was trained to answer with my name and ask how may i help. that when a customer asks a question to kindly provide information as long as its not harmful. Your name, or even a fake name, wouldnt have harmed anyone. Then she proceeded to say my boss says i do not need to give out private information when i said im not asking for your private information im asking to greet the person on the phone im speaking to and to hopefully get a problem resolved that if she can not do that to please transfer me to this so called boss (that said she cant even say her name). She then said her boss is not there atm. I said okay well if you could provide me with information to contact her, if i could pleas relay my information to you so she can get back to me on this treatment and mishandled customer service situation i would appreciate it. She cut me off the whole time,as she was doing with my husband, then hung up on me. He was unsure even when to speak because of how she spoke. This is a MANAGER. WHAT. A manager could have easily refunded or explained there is a refund possibility or that the "app will refund at midnight", or explain policies. We had to call to get information of refund, even then she provided only after being rude and not directly asking a customers question assuming she knew. You have no idea who was calling & you automatically treat people like that? I'm trying to upload recording of my call with this woman, sorry for my tension. There has never been a problem before and I have NEVER had a McDonald's worker ask to see me open up my app on the phone. I provide the payment information code, pick up the order and that's it. Just as my husband has done. I have went through our orders and we have placed over 10 since January. Never will go there again except if with police to press charges, to charge for discrimination against disabled, and to get refund payment. Will update when refund is recieved, as of placing this review, the app says my order was picked up and to enjoy.. bout that.... past midnight and payment has processed on my...
Read moreThis particular McDonald's location has repeatedly provided a truly frustrating experience, marked by poor food quality and a disruptive atmosphere.
My most recent order included four McChickens, and I am honestly disgusted at the quality output. Not a single McChicken was saved from the old, wilted lettuce. The lack of care in preparing the food is obvious, and it clearly reflects the overall level of service.
As for delivery, I have a consistent issue: whoever is packing my order always forgets something. I'm starting to think they are not reading the full receipt or customization tickets, such as requests to leave off lettuce or pickles.
The service is exactly what you'd expect from people who clearly don't want to be there. This lack of enthusiasm shows in the poor quality of the food.
As for the atmosphere, don't bother going inside. While I appreciate kids socializing, it becomes a problem when a group of teenagers essentially camps out there all day long. They are constantly in the way, disrespectful, and block the ordering kiosks. I even had to intervene because someone almost walked off with my to-go order.
This is not hyperbole: if you avoid the drive-thru or curbside pickup, you'll find the lobby packed with teens who are always there, sharing meals, and enjoying free refills. You can even see the crowd inside if your vehicle is tall enough in the drive-thru.
This has gone on on multiple occasions, and I would strongly recommend another location altogether. The consistent mistakes with delivery and customizations, combined with the bad food and the uncomfortable, crowded lobby, make this location...
Read moreIt just doesn't seem to get better at this location. Each time we've tried going, we end up dealing with more issues.
This time we had family up visiting for a few short days. We needed a quick breakfast while our and about and this is what the matriarch of the family wanted. As I ordered our breakfasts, I noticed the total was for only one of those, not for our full order. When I repeated that I needed multiple for all of us, the employee taking our order repeated the number of items I said we needed TWICE and proceeded to notify us that it will be expensive. I said, "okay?" So I then repeated we needed x amount of the order. He said the total, I thanked him, and we waited 10 minutes before getting to the window.
As he opened the window to take our payment, he asked what our order was. So, again, I told him. He shut the window halfway and goes, "oh, they actually ordered 'x' amount of 'y'...hey, they ordered it...". (Mind you, it was 7 of an item, not an unacceptable amount to not pre-order.) A few minutes go by and he comes back trying to make change.
We finally move up to the food window and the girl must have been having a really rough day because she was not friendly at all, not a smile or "thank you", not even a "you're welcome" or "you too" when I said "thank you, have a nice day".
Needless to say, we will be speaking up for anyone suggesting to ever stop here again. It's been quite some time since we've given another chance for this location, but we're over it.
I'm giving 1 star because at least they got the...
