We had dinner with the family this evening and the experience was terrible. Going down the list:
I ordered a Caesar Salad, assuming that I my salad would be paired with the traditional Caesar dressing. I was wrong. Instead, they paired it with a "house tangy dressing". This "house tangy dressing" was really just a vinaigrette. Not recommended. Fortunately, I swapped it out with a house salad - which by the way, is your best bet. (FYI -- The waitress was a bit snippy)
I ordered lamb chops medium rare, with a side of rosemary baby red potatoes. Instead, I got lamb chops (at least they got that right) - well done, and Brussel sprouts. The waiter had to retrieve my baby reds. FYI -- the Brussel sprouts consisted of only TWO edible pieces. I got tired of calling the waitress back, so I dealt with the well done lamb chops.
A family member waited twice the time to get their pizza, because they over-cooked the first pizza. It was nice enough that they compensated her with a cup of chili for the time being.
Another family member order a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was rubbery, and pink in the middle!!! I'm not sure how that's even possible, unless the chicked was frozen and cooked on high heat.
For the price that they are expecting their costumers to pay, their food and service should be up to par! What a waste!!
PS -- I've ordered their Pho in the past, and the "27 spice" was not flavorful at all. It was expensive, and salty. The beef based soup was definitely missing the beef flavor.
I would not recommend...
Read moreI've been here two separate times. The first time we walked in to a full bar - we weren't greeted and there was no where to sit anywhere so we stood at the bar. The bartender was rude and short with us. But once we were seated and got our food I was happy. I picked to eat here because they have vegan options. I've been wanting to come back for weeks while my boyfriend was in town and decided to eat here instead of the pickled loon because I wanted their earth burger. We walked in shortly after they opened. We were not greeted once again. We sat ourselves and a waitress did not come over for quit a few minutes. My bf commented they were probably irritated that we came ten minutes after opening. Shortly after ordering the waitress told me they had no more vegan buns. The whole reason I came here was for the burger. They charged me the same price to put the burger on rye bread...which I did not want. They were unapologetic, and wanted to serve it to me with no bun. Not something I want to pay $11 for! I took the bread option and It was like they took the bread and dipped it in a bucket of oil and it was hard and dry. The burger was tasteless. By far the worst food I've had and our waitress was unfriendly and unapologetic. Im also 90% sure the staff were joking about vegans, which is rather rude. An experience that will keep me from ever returning. I'll walk the extra block and pay more for food at the pickled loon. The staff could use some...
