11/26/24: We had the Combo Number 4 for six of us. It was plenty of food and it was all good, but not inexpensive at $207, and a total bill that ended up being $265. I don't want to be nitpicky because I like the place, the people, and the food, however I don't think most people carry more than $200 in cash when they go out to eat. They add a surcharge of 4% ($8.28) for the use of a credit card. I realize that credit card fees eat into restaurants profits, but I find this objectionable, and I will probably not go back there very often. My suggestion would be to simply build the 4% into the price, and then offer patrons who pay with cash a vulture worth 4% of their meal toward their next visit. I would literally have to go to a bank to get cash if I wanted to avoid that fee, and that's too much of a hassle. The server, Kayla, also didn't tell me that they would charge me extra for some hot sauce on the side. It would have been nice to know, another $8. Except for these caveats I would recommend the place, just be aware of what you're going to have to pay ahead of time.

First Time: Boil Seafood 🦞 Restaurant: Very friendly and nice owners, Don and Mimi. A cozy modern interior. The Combo Number 2 was more than plenty for us—mature folks—and the seasoning and the quality of crab and shrimp were very good, along with corn and potatoes At $54 for the combo it seemed reasonable considering the cost of crab & shrimp. With a 4% discount for cash and adding a gratuity the bill was $66.55. A little history: Years ago this was the All American Bar. This...

You know when you go to a restaurant and they ask if you’ve been there before? This place needs to be one of those restaurants. I had no idea what to expect. The menu has no pictures and doesn’t give explanations as to ingredients.

I asked about the Thai tea. They brought a sample and after I tasted it I realized it had milk in it. This should be listed on the menu. I ordered the crab claw boil not realizing I would be getting the claws and not just the meat (I know—my bad). It would have been great had their been pictures of the boil some where.

Then, I didn’t realize there was a box of plastic gloves on the table to wear when you were eating the boil. Had they asked if I had been there before, they could have explained it. I didn’t realize they had the gloves until I was almost done and saw the people behind us using gloves. It took a good 4 hand washings to get rid of the smell.

There was so much butter (I’m assuming it was butter) in the dish, that I had it splattered all over my shirt even with the bib on. I almost needed my daughter to wear safety glasses with all of the butter and crab shell flying around.

On the menu there is something called a PO boy with no explanation as to what it is.

My daughter has been there previously and ordered the catfish. They ended up bringing it home because they had so much to eat. It really was good fish.

If I go there again, I’m definitely going to ask lots of questions instead of throwing caution to the wind and being surprised at what they bring...

Food: 5 stars, Service: 2 stars at most. Stopped in for dinner last night with a small group of girlfriends and the food was delicious! Most of us got the combo #1 seafood boil which was very tasty and well seasoned. The portions were generous and filling. My only feedback about the food was that it came out luke warm and not very hot, but I believe this was a result of the service we received which was extremely poor. The lady waiting on us was not friendly, not helpful with the menu (it was our first time there), and after our food was brought to the table, never returned to check on us one time. So I’m almost positive our food sat there ready and she was just slow to bring it out. We had to ask the man behind the bar for refills on our drinks, and had to ask another server for a box and our checks. We didn’t see her anywhere for 20+ minutes after our food came. Completely unacceptable and a poor experience/atmosphere. Please train your staff to be more friendly, accommodating and professional - otherwise your restaurant will not last very long in this area. Your chef, however, gets 5 stars for the excellent food ⭐️ I’ll try it one more time just because the food was great, but if the service is poor again, I...

If you like seafood boils, you’ll like this place go check them out. I truly feast it on this one catfish mozzarella sticks, Cajun fries, fried wings and then the boil I got a pound of snow crab a half pound of lobster half pound of shrimp. A half pound of scallop came with corn and potatoes and then I got two extra eggs, man that shit was so good. I obviously couldn’t eat it all so I got a little something for tomorrow 🔥 me and my lady feasted 💪🏽#seafood #crablegs #seafoodboil #boil #fypage
