Clean and bright! A huge step up from before! The food was consistent with other Taco Johns (before it wasn't) except the potato things by having a lot less salt, which is great! Thank you. First glance a great improvement.
BUT cashier was rude and put her hand inside my drink cup. Never said welcome or thank you and seemed like we where wasting her time. Got an eye roll when I told her, "Thank you". You can hear some of the girls in the back making fun of drive through customers as they order. Once again as before and when they opened Checkers in the location Management and training is just horrible. How hard is it to have your employees greet people correctly or not have them cashiers, and not talk about customers? Simple but as history shown it's complicated to do the simple things.
Fly's everywhere, they need something to help. They are constantly landing on guests and food. No salsa bar as every other Taco Johns has which in my opinion makes Taco Johns better then it's rival. With out it's not better.

Second - Poor order taking at this place ! Either fix the speaker or don’t hire kids who have trouble hearing or distracted.
(1) The kid hands me the coffee - asks the same question 3 times (there is No one behind me ...so not a rush!) and they don’t have Splenda (or such) or milk to Pre mix? Says you only give black coffee? So why do breakfast??? Never heard of that...
(2$ Gives me an overflowing cup of coffee - lid comes off - burnt my hand !    Read moreStopped by yesterday (September 26th, 2022) around 310 pm after placing a mobile order. I had to stop across the street so i hit check in and handled what I needed to and came to get my food. Lights off, chairs on tables, no signs, nothing. I tried to cancel my order because it took money out of my account and the app said to call the store to cancel. After which, i received a notification saying my order was completed? So i drove back to hopefully get my food and they were still closed, and to follow that up I received an email asking to review my experience.
Today, Tuesday September 27th, 2022 i stopped by to see if they were open and to get a refund of my money. My order number was taken down by someone who i believe was named Tyler and told that he would "look into it".
I'm not one usually ask for refunds or discounts on food even if it's messed up, but I didn't get my food or my money back.
