We was out touring the plantation homes and came across this gem. If your out and looking for something to eat in St. Francisville don’t pass this up. We decided to try Mexican food and it did not disappoint at all. The salsa was just perfect not to spicy or mild just right. I got the taco plate which was 3 stuffed tacos with lots of rice and beans all under $10.00 Hubby got the burrito supreme it came with a bed of lettuce sour cream, burrito, beans and rice all under $13.00. Service was great and on their toes. This was our first time and we will be making a trip back to try something different on the menu.

Excellent job. The salsa was spicy and also had citrus flavor. I assume from line. Loved it. The supreme burrito plate was excellent as well as my wife's chicken taco salad. The crust for the salad was fluffy crispy but not greasy. Also it was chicken fajita meat not the typical shredded wet meat that you get in tacos salads. Very impressed and reasonable prices too.

Delicious food, friendly service, and there's a patio where you can bring your dog (it needs a collar and leash). And that steak was so tender, you could cut through it with your fork!!!

I give a 2 only because the atmosphere was nice. We went as a party of 4. We ordered 2 steak night specials which include a steak, potato, salad and bread. Well we asked for loaded baked potatoes ($2 upcharge per meal) ok no problem. Then we asked if we could sub the salad for a baked potato as well. The waitress said it would be an upchage (didn’t make sense bc we were only subbing the potato for the salad which were the same price) but ok. We will get back to this in a sec. We got our meals and about 4 oz of my steak was fat. We didn’t complain. None of us had refills at all, our waitress was missing. Thank goodness she had put water on the table in the beginning. We went to celebrate a birthday since we couldn’t find the waitress I had told the hostess. The hostess said they would bring a dessert out and sing happy bday well there was no dessert so we ordered a dessert and it was HORRIBLE it was a molten cake and it tasted freezer burnt. Even the ice cream was horrible. Well now it’s time to get the bill. We couldn’t figure out why it was so much. Come to realize after looking over the menu they had charged us $10.50 for 2 extra potatoes. I asked the waitress to explain and she couldn’t understand we didn’t get anything “extra” we switched the salads out for the potatoes. So, I was just about to give up when she said “You didn’t have to order that. You should have ordered something different. I know I explained it to you and I even gave you the other options.” Which she did NOT. So I asked to speak to a manager for her rude behavior. Let’s say management was a joke. First of all she let the waitress stand there and talk over me while I was explaining what happened. Then she had other servers being nosey stopping and staring at our tables without correction. She too couldn’t wrap her brain around the situation or the fact that her server was extremely rude. We will NEVER support this company again and I will be sure to spread the word. But the atmosphere...

If you live in the small town of St. Francisville and never venture out much (or have never enjoyed real Mexican or Tex-Mex food), then you are most likely apt to rate this restaurant 3 stars or more. While the food is not inedible, it's not as high quality that some of the raters are claiming it to be. What Mexican restaurant makes you pay for chips and salsa? This one does. What Mexican restaurant doesn't have fresh guacamole? This one doesn't. What Mexican restaurant charges $12 for a chicken quesadilla with no other sides? Yup, you guessed it. The menu is large and has a wide variety, but it's a far cry from "good" food. It's edible and that's about it. The flavor of the grilled chicken and steak (not even close to being able to call it carne asada) is about the best thing...

Not even close to authentic Mexican Food. They should have to change their name. Fajita was semi sauteed onions with sliced chicken on top. Oh lest I forget, there was one bell pepper on top of the chicken. Not sauteed, but just sitting there. No marinade. Just onions, sliced chicken and one bell pepper. Fried beans and rice was not hot. My wife got a taco salad, beef. No sauce or beans. My niece got a cheese quesadilla. It was less than stellar as well.. all this for $44.00. Don't even do it... I asked our sweet naive server, if this was how the fajitas were normally served. She proclaimed, yes. This with an almost proud look on her face. Customer service and...
