Let's get Home Town Cafe on the map- a gem of a find while passing through. Start with the curds- i couldn't snap a pic fast enough and before my family devoured them. They were like small bits of cheesy heaven, perfectly breaded and fried. Next up were our entrees. Kids' cheeseburger and fries were accompanied by plentiful pickles, upon request of my kid. Two 7-year-old thumbs up! The big kids had the spaghetti and meatball special and a patty melt. Pure perfection. Adults had the fish basket special. We were disappointed that they were out of cole slaw but that provided an opportunity to try the bean and ham soup- much better than the hot ham water I've become accustomed to back in Staten Island. The fried cod was better than a warm fish salad on a cold day. I just wish my best friends from high school had been with us to enjoy it. Finished everything off by sharing a slice of sour cream raisin pie. BEST I've had since Prince Herb's wedding. Guy Fierri needs to put this place on his list-- top notch!

Accompanied a friend for an interview in St.James and decided to grab a quick lunch here. I had chick strips with ranch. They fries were actually really good. Very crispy and they gave you a lot. Food was ok for this price and in this town since they don't have that many restaurants to choose from. The place is very spacious and clean.

Stopped in passing through town. Came in 20 minutes before close and they had a buffet special. Food was incredible and fresh, ice cream was great, and service was awesome! Worth stopping in!

I would so give a zero if I could... I just called this place of business, so I thought... Well As usual I asked for a take-out order... I continue to ask for the " Beef Dinner " that's clearly on the day to day Menu.. Not a Special item... The Lady tells me that this item is a Special by day only. Not served everyday, clearly I've already taken a long look at the online menu. Also, we've ordered from here often... This is the same order we always get... So, I call back to ask to speak to the manager, the lady passes the phone as I'm listening to her LAUGH at me... " lol, he wants the manager, lol". My luck, low and behold, it's the same lady from the first call... UGH, I've never been so mad in my life.... Why? Just Why? NO LONGER A...

we decided to stop for supper the way home and we are so glad we did. the best food ever. the four of us had a burger, chef salad, skillet breakfast, country breakfast. the meals were all GREAT. great service. even a bit of a history lesson from our waitress ABBY. Who works everyday and makes a mean malt. Abby a new graduate was very good at her job and even suggested we get a fresh made every morning piece of pie to take home. we took her up on it and after not sorry we did the sour cream is out of this world. we may live 60 miles away but we...
