JB Coffee House — Restaurant in St. James

I appreciate the cleanliness and parent friendly area in the coffee shop. The bathrooms are well maintained and clean as well. My service is always fast and friendly. The espresso they use has a cherry note to it, and the shots have been pulled properly at every visit. The one thing that has been a miss at all my visits is the milk temp. It has been way too hot every time I get a drink. Sometimes it's so hot, the foam is completely gone by the time I get a drink. On my last visit, I got the drink and headed down the interstate and couldn't take sips until past Cuba. I would suggest temping the milk until the baristas can gauge proper temp. I believe the rule is place your finger to the side of your frothing pitcher and once you can count to two with a bit of discomfort, it's ready. Other than the milk temp, everything I've tried has been very enjoyable. It's nice to have a properly made shot of espresso...

I am in marketing, so I travel from town to town, procuring and cultivating relationships w/clients. One of my frustrations is finding a good coffee shop that knows what they are doing and is not pretentious like certain Seattle based companys....... Well.....Eureka! JB's is the spot! As soon as I walked through the door, I was warmly greeted. I was unfamiliar with their wares (indeed it was first thing in the morning) so when the barista asked what I would like, all I could muster was "what do you got to wake me up"? Lol. Well, they walked me through the "JB Crack". I ordered it and tossed in a cinnamon roll warmed up. Items came in a timely manner, and the suggested drink was just what I needed! Thank you, Jitter Beans! I will be placing this in my Google Favorites. P.S the kids play center will be perfect for my wife, myself and kids when I bring them. Nice...

Holy moly, this place is stunning! This coffee shop is, without doubt, one of the most aesthetically pleasing places I've ever been to.

Great atmosphere. The food is high quality. I got a smoothie and apple loaf, and both were 10 out of 10!

The prices are good as well. It was warm/cozy inside, and I'll definitely be coming back. Worth the short drive from the interstate for sure.
