Fair Shares is awesome! They are a Community Supported Agriculture member-based organization. We've been getting all our food there for years. They are very nice and provide outstanding local produce, meat, and other groceries. Since everything is from a local producer, I know I'm supporting a local farm. Plus, all our food is local and in season - saving fuel costs and pollution. I've recommended Fair Shares to friends and family and often see them when I make our weekly pickup. We love getting our share....and love all the ideas on ways to cook/eat familiar and new foods!! We love that we know that we are supporting our local farmers and the lettuce lasts weeks in my fridge...which made me realize how old the lettuce I had been eating must have been!! :-( Their bison is the best I've ever eaten and the bacon and is amazing....and of course there is nothing like fresh...
