My company sent me to ST Louis for a temp 4 month contract. When I arrived I looked for a good gym that specializes in free weights ( My idea of a good gym is one with more squat racks then treadmills). After touring 4 gyms, by far the best was Ready Fitness. A great 24/7 Gym that understands the value of lifting heavy weights while not being a "MeatHead Gym" . Kraemer (the owner was professional and friendly) and did not pressure me to join. The best thing is the equipment, top quality racks, machines, dumbells, barbells, powerlifting stations (not me). Onsite has a physical therapist, personal trainers, and group training. But the gamechanger was the fact that I never been to a gym with so much specialty equipment: Sleds, Iron Maces, bench press pads, Tib Bar Guy equipment, Ropes, Kettle Bells and well maintained equipment I have never seen before. Now I am at the end of my project and leaving ST Louis. In conclusion, Ready Fitness was not a good gym. READY FITNESS IS A GREAT GYM. Its location is part of a friendly athletic community that is part of a CO OP that also offers Crossfit, Yoga, Pilates, Sauna, Physical Therapist, Personal...
Read moreHaving never been a gym guy, it’s always tough for me to invest in a membership. However I can honestly say that my experience here has been nothing but incredible. The equipment? Wonderful with a lot of variety and plenty of weights. The staff? Phenomenal, always pleasant and knowledgeable. I’ve had a few times where I’ve gotten advice which I very much needed. The location? Great, a large space with plenty of room to not be on top of each other. As a newer place with such a high level of service, I really wanted to leave a review letting others know how this is hands down the best gym in the area. I used to pay for memberships and never go, but so far I am happy to show up at least 3xs a week if not more. Highly recommend this place for beginners all the way to advanced gym lovers as it has everything you’ll need and all the additional services you could dream of...
Read moreI’ve been a member for almost 2 months now. I rated them 5/5 stars because I have had nothing but great experiences at RFT. My previous gyms in the city have had more memberships than they had capacity for, and I wouldn’t be able to do my planned workouts, due to every machine being occupied. Not at RFT. It feels like your own personal gym with the a very friendly/welcoming support staff to learn and grow from. Also, I have attended 3 of the RTF+ group workout classes (led by Kramer Eggemeyer). They have brought me back to the “good ol days” of playing organized sports and doing group workouts. No better way to make new friends than sweating, crying, and getting your butt whooped together! Ready Fitness Training has given me the ability to take my personal health to the next level. I would...
