Los Hermanos — Restaurant in St. Marys

If you’re looking for fast, friendly service, don’t go here. How this place has 4.5 stars is beyond me. I’ve been here twice now. The first time the service was awful and the food was bland. We ordered but never saw anyone after that for refills or boxes. The second time, I came with my family after my sisters graduation. We were seated after a few minutes and were brought chips and salsa as usual. After that, we waited and waited for someone to take our drink orders or even bring us waters or menus. The seemed a little busy (even though the restaurant wasn’t full) so I didn’t think anything of the wait. After about 30 minutes of waiting for any kind of service and watching people that had been seated after us receive service I went up to the bar area to ask for drinks and some menus. Nothing. I was completely ignored. Several servers walked past me multiple times but I was looked through. I sat back down and my sister tried to POLITELY get a servers attention, at this point she was shooed away. This server actually waved his hand at her in a dismissive manner! Finally, we ended up just leaving, which I’m sure is what they were ultimately hoping for. I’d say spend the extra gas and go elsewhere if you’re craving Mexican food. Las Trancas and Tampico in Marietta or Gran Ranchero in Parkersburg all have better food and...

This is an edit.... We have been back in here several times since my first review of this restaurant. Each time the prices and the amounts overcharged have gotten higher and the quality and portions have gone down. Today I feel I will not be back in here...ever! I understand inflation, but a dinner that was 8.99... is now 15.99 and just not worth it when the refried beans are making me gag while trying to eat. I order the same thing any and every time I go to any Mexican restaurant. Something is way different in the meat of the chimechanga. If it is a change in recipe then I feel that change was a huge mistake. I feel you should give any thing at least 2 chances, you never know, maybe they had a bad day, maybe I had a bad day, maybe it just wasn't in the cards. The decline in this place has built up over several trips, and this is definitely my last.

First review.... Always very good food. A little pricey for the portion size. Take out for 2 is...

Friendly atmosphere and the servers are very friendly, and the food is amazing. My only qualm is that for my birthday several months ago, several members of my family and I went there for dinner, and they forgot to bring my sister's meal, and we had to remind them several times about it. Not only that, but when we first sat down, they never brought us our menus (we waited for 20 minutes to get our menus and about 20 more minutes to receive our food). Granted it was about 8 people and a rather large crowd, but still, I would've liked better service than that. Other than that, I really like this restaurant and the people, and I've continued...
