Sugar Hill Brewing Company — Restaurant in St. Paul

My first trip here, the food was great, and the wine, amazing! (The server's personality, was about as personable as a wet dish cloth, however). My second trip, the hostess, was a clueless nitwit, I honestly have no clue why she was even there. When she was asked for a high chair, she merely pointed to where they were, when checking out, she stared at me with a deer in headlights expression, and told me that I could put my card with the check on the table and my server would come get it. I mean seriously what was her purpose? The full Moo appetizer the chips were cold, it was as if they had been sitting since lunch time. The server, though as friendly and as kind as could be, was far too over stretched for her capabilities, I asked three times for a to-go box, and by the fourth time, she seemed more interested in her phone than my request. This is by far the best place any where near St. Paul to eat and have a good time ! I've been here a few times and the food and service has been awesome!!! I hate that I'm here for work and dont have a place like this back home in South Carolina ! Me and a buddy of mine had the pleasure of sitting at the bar with Sam and she was top notch! She had the best customer service and was fun to hang out with ! She definitely made it a great experience at this place and makes us want to come back!! We also talked with Angie and the manager and they were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome! I would highly recommend this restaurant/brewery to anyone that's visiting or lives in the area! They have all of the above, great food, great service, great beer, and a fantastic...

If zero stars were an option, it would be my review. They were out of everything I ordered, but not when I had to change my order 3 times, but after my alternate order were made. The owners were there and told me their steak were the best, my husband and I ordered them....you guessed it...they only had 1 steak left. When it was brought to the table, it was beef jerky at best. The husband owner was sitting on the bar when I finally had enough when the bill came and charges us for everything we ordered and never received..... Just don't put yourself through the process of getting involved with this place. It would be better to go to the worst place ever to eat and it try to give this place some of...
