Wow — I truly can’t say enough about the exceptional staff and management at Manera’s in Brick. If you’re even considering dining here or hosting an event, stop thinking and just do it. You will not regret it!
My husband and I first discovered Manera’s a few months ago when we came in to celebrate his birthday. The experience was outstanding — from the warm, attentive service to the beautifully prepared, delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations. We left that night already planning our next visit.
So when it came time to choose a venue for my baby shower, Manera’s was at the top of my list — and after comparing multiple places, it was clear that nothing else came close. Not only were the event packages the most reasonably priced, but unlike many other venues, there were no surprise fees or hidden charges. Everything was upfront, honest, and transparent.
From my very first inquiry to the final minutes of packing up after the party, the entire process was effortless, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable — which is no small feat when you’re planning a big event! A huge shout-out to Eric and Anthony, who went above and beyond at every turn to accommodate our every need. Their professionalism, kindness, and flexibility made all the difference.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. My guests haven’t stopped raving about it — and let’s be honest, that’s always the part people remember most at any party. Manera’s truly delivered on every level.
We had an amazing time, and I’m already looking forward to planning our next celebration here. Thank you again to the entire team for making my baby shower so special — you turned what could have been a stressful day into a joyful, seamless experience. Highly,...
Read moreQuiet, tablecloths-style restaurant. The shrimp and fish dishes we had (seared tuna salad, & cold mixed seafood appetizer) were very good. The server & busser were very welcoming.
The shellfish, alas, were a different story. The raw small clam & oyster in the appetizer were no longer live, and smelled like it. I did send them back, & asked the chef to take a look. The waiter did bring out an additional two shellfish. I did eat the second oyster & clam, and could tell it was briny, stringy, and then something unpleasant underneath.
I explained as much to the server. It seems he did pass the concern on, & I believe him. The seafood delivery was called into question. What really is in question is that the chef, or prep people, sent the slimy limp raw shellfish out to the table. At best, it makes the staff look inexperienced. At worst, it looks as if they'll send out whatever because they're trying to be economical. (Eating it is on me!)
I'm sympathetic. They're a long-time shore restaurant, with good reviews, & the last few years have been terrible for businesses. But it seems not worth the risk of sickening customers to keep the restaurant going. Get better at inspection of your deliveries, and your plates, & serve cooked seafood instead of raw except in peak season.
I wish them the best & again, their cooked seafood & seared tuna was delicious. I would go again & stick to the not-shellfish dishes, it was otherwise a...
