Was in the area and looking for breakfast tacos. Google showed me the options and the ratings on this place peeked my curiosity. I stopped by at 830AM on a Thursday. They parking for the place was full (not that much parking, but enough for a tiny taco place). I parked on the side street and although a little nervous about it, I saw no signs that indicated no parking, so I did. I was the only one there when I got there, but 15 minutes later as I left there were 3 more cars, so all ok.
Now, for the experience in my visit. I saw 3 or 4 people ahead of me in the store, just 2 in line, but the guy behind the counter probably handed out a good 10 orders while I was there for 5 minutes. People practically ran in, and he handed them orders and they ran back out... that explained all the vehicles when I did not see too many people in the store. People arriving and leaving quickly. While the counter guy took orders from people in line he took as many or more over the phone in the same time... looked like ordering on the phone is maybe even more efficient. By the time I left there were 5 in line, but I think mostly picking up orders that had not been paid for, but were ready to go. It was a bit chaotic, but kind of fun to see the one man behind the counter move like I imagine a surgeon would, with tremendous precision and efficiency. I was in and out in 5-10 minutes, but I think 20 others were tended to in the same amount of time.
Now the food. I got bean and chorizo (actually meant to get egg and chorizo, but this was probably better) and an egg and beans. Their beans are delicious (for a native from Mexico, here 30+years, it was a real taste of home), the chorizo not overwhelming, which really made me appreciate it, because sometimes it's just too much. The tortillas string enough to hold it all in. All wrapped in foil, can get messy, but we'll contained.
Bottom line, it was a great experience and I will certainly be back. Saw barbacoa in their menu, not in tacos, but served with tortillas, so that'll likely be my next try. There were lots of options...

First things first, the breakfast tacos here are unbeatable. They are hands down the best I've ever had on my way to work. Every bite is bursting with deliciousness, and they fill those tacos to the brim! You won't be leaving hungry, that's for sure.
The ambiance of this place is something special. It might be a small shack, but the flavors they produce are HUGE! It's like a hidden taco treasure in the middle of town. The only downside is that it's so popular; you definitely want to call ahead and place your order. The word is out about this spot, and the line can get pretty long, but trust me, it's worth the wait!
And let's talk about the salsa. Oh, boy! The salsa here is on point. It's the perfect blend of heat and flavor, elevating every taco to another level of deliciousness. You might even want to take some home with you!
Beyond the food, the customer service is genuinely top-notch. The staff is super friendly and always ready to take care of your needs. You can tell that the owners really care about their customers and their team. It feels like a small-town taco shop with that personal touch that's hard to find in big chains.
And here's a bonus point: they treat their employees well! It's heartwarming to see a business that values its team members, and it definitely shines through in the service they provide.
So, in summary, if you want the best breakfast tacos in town, Soliz Casa de Tacos is the place to go. Just remember to call ahead and prepare for a packed house because everyone knows this spot is a true taco haven. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm already planning my next visit to taste those amazing tacos and experience the warm and welcoming...
Read moreWhere do I start, I’ve been wanting to come here for a long while because of the reviews. All I can say is, never again. This place is not a Mexican restaurant! Just because the name of it is Mexican, doesn’t make the food Mexican. Today was my first visit, definitely will be our last. I spent $41, in which I feel like is very overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. My husband went and ordered, 6 breakfast tacos and a platillo. The fajita taco, more onions than anything, meat was dried and very distasteful. No seasoning! The guisado taco, NOT guisado! That’s carne desebrada. Very dry, again, no seasoning! They both left a bad after taste, so make sure you have gum or something. Potato and egg taco, more like peppered mashed potatoes taco. They must’ve forgot the eggs. The bacon and egg taco, again, forgot the eggs. Bacon was definitely not fresh, either precooked or left overs from the day before. Tastes reheated, old, stale, like cardboard. Then the platillo,.. I get it, eggs are pricey at the moment. We had ordered the platillo with 2 eggs( medium sized, small, whatever it was) beans, dried peppered potatoes, and bacon. Definitely not worth my $41. I was on FaceTime with my husband so he can tell me what they had, they were pretty rude. He asked if they had a menu and the girl gave him an “don’t you see it look” and didn’t say anything just pointed behind her, rolled her eyes and walked off. So, definitely don’t recommend this place at all. I’ve added photos so y’all can see I’m not exaggerating. Also, this place is supposedly delicious, no disrespect, but there was mainly white and a few Asians coming in and out. This food has zero flavor, it was more like hospital food tasting. Oh yes! That’s not salsa, that’s pico de gallo. Well more like mashed tomatoes, that’s all you taste. If you want Mexican food, this is...
