There's are times you're looking for, a great place,for a place to eat,good, Italian food, "especially." Take out. And "your, so dam tired to cook'! LOL... YOU look up,a good place,to order from, not thinking,that there's an excellent place, in your naboborhood !, An it's "Sal"s Pizzeria" in stanhope. I tried all the others, and Sals, is the one that stands out,above the others, The pizza has the,Great taste,of fresh ingredients.on it, and the home made tomato sauce.that also make it so great.That the others are missing.That makes Sal"s stand out. Being italian, I look for that. All his dinners are great also.I tryed them all. Each dinner he has on his menu, ther all great and, come,with a fresh salad, great warm fresh italian bread.also. I get it delivered to my house,It is still hot! Not warm or cold, like outhers. I recommend "Sal"Pizzeria. It's great, and it right in my naboborhood. Ps. When you call to order and deliver food,there is no rush on the phone. And when your food arrives, there never been, you never,got the right food or not,I have never got a wrong order. It's always spot...

What can I say… moved this way about a year ago.. tried some pizzerias around the way and I wasn’t pleased with the food. I decided to order from a new place, saw the reviews and pictures and decided to order… first impression phone call really blew my mind!!!! The person over the phone (a man) very pleasant, positive attitude, super up beat. I asked for my pizza very well done (he knew exactly what I meant) brick oven without the brick oven!!! Yes!!!! It was like we knew each other in that instance!!!! My next order pasta with meat sauce.. my oh my…. The flavor, the pasta cooked to perfection “al dente” chefs kiss 🥰 and finally the star of the show!!!! Mussels not just mussels but New Zealand muscles!!! The chunks of garlic and the sauce to pair…. I couldn’t believe it… I finally found a pizzeria that I can enjoy with my family and not feel like I wasted my money!!! So to the person who told me over the phone “if you don’t like it I’ll refund you your money” you have a new customer for life!!! Thank you again!!!!!...

For 29 Years Sals Pizza has been serving Stanhope.with authentic New York style Pizza. Out of the past 50 pizzerias that I have visited over the past 2 months, I have not seen anyone who has the passion for pizza like Sal. He came around the corner and talked the finer details that go into producing a great slice of pizza. It is Sal who shops for fresh ingredients to use every 3 days. It is Sal working to produce the best pizza possible. Also, judging by the items on the wall, Sals is a big supporter of the local community. The Authenticity is off the charts. Old school all the way.I can't wait to go...
