Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Staples

I've been a loyal customer of Staples Dairy Queen for years, but I must say the recent changes in ownership have severely impacted the quality of service. My latest experience was nothing short of disappointing.

I placed an order for a custom cake featuring a design with Mario and Luigi, with a frame where my son's picture was supposed to be placed. Despite the effort it took to get the picture to them, they managed to mess up the order. When I went to pick up the cake, they had only printed my son's picture without the requested design. This is not the first time they've gotten my order wrong. Previously, for my daughter's birthday, they completely disregarded my request for a Frozen-themed cake and gave me a generic one instead. While they rectified that mistake with a free cake and a coupon, the fact that they repeated this error is unacceptable.

This time, they offered me only $10 off as compensation. Considering this is their second major mistake, I believe I deserved more to make up for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.

Moreover, their customer service has deteriorated significantly. There's no greeting when you approach the counter; instead, employees just stare from the drive-thru window area. I often find myself waiting for several minutes before someone finally acknowledges my presence and takes my order. Even when attempting curb-side pickup, they rarely answer their phones, which adds to the frustration.

Overall, the decline in customer service and the repeated errors in order fulfillment have left me deeply dissatisfied. I hope management addresses these issues promptly to restore the quality and reliability that customers expect from...

in my experience the burgers here especially the third pound double cheeseburger tends to be very much on the dry side. I tend to frequent dairy Queens and there are a few that I have as a comparison and their burgers are nice and juicy, flavorful! I'm quite certain they pad off the grease from the Burger patties here at this location, burgers are not juicy and flavorful. as well when ordering chicken strips or something like that they put the stuff into a box shove some napkins if you're lucky getting napkins, into the lid opening and hand that to you- what the heck is wrong with a bag?? give me my food in a bag! this does happen by accident once in a great while someone at the window will actually put the food in a bag. using their reasoning they should just hand a burger that's wrapped up out the window at a customer rather than in a bag. You give me a bag I have something to keep my food in for a little while it will help keep it warmer and as well to put napkins my drink cup when I'm finished with it and so forth and two and be able to throw it away. historically I have seen from this location for many years the efforts to just go stingy at every possible place and I tell you what you cannot do that with burgers and you can't do it with customer service! You cannot replace good customer service with something else.!

I don't know what you guys did but the fries that I had had some Brown specks on it and tasted good up until about the 12th fry and then all I got was a taste of dry urine that permeated throughout my mouth. And I mean like urine that's been dried on the floor. It just smelled and tasted like pee. I was a bit apprehensive to bite into the burger so I inspected it and took about one bite and I'm sure it might be placebo but pretty sure it tasted like some cleaner too. So i spat that out. Im never coming back here again idk what kind cleanliness standards you guys are running my order was around 6:19-6:25ish. Maybe it was the ranch? Idk fast food is bad for me anyway so i consider it a blessing in disguise but the taste of licking a music festival porta potty wasn't worth it to guide me to say no.
