Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs — Restaurant in Statesboro

I give up on this place- its gone downhill since it was sold to these "new owners" who can barely speak or read English- I placed an online order for a sausage sub with extra onions- I get home and its sausage & onion ONLY- the sausage was old & dry; I had no other choice than to eat it because I am diabetic and was very hungry and I wasn't about to drive all the way back there in this cold rainy weather to argue with them to fix it- this happened to me a few years ago as well & I stopped going there; I thought I'd give them a second chance but things are just worse. I walked in and there was this Indian woman & her 2 kids running around while she was mopping the floor with, you guessed it, Pinesol! I almost got sick from the smell. It was about 6pm, store closes around 9 or 10pm, why couldn't she wait until after they close? Its disgusting! "Jersey subs"? Soda machine was out of CO2, so all of the drinks were flat. Tea was a bit stale. Ordered two sandwiches., my amercan army was made well, except they forgot my mayo and mustard. Too much oil and vinegar. My wife had the "big" cheesesteak. It had about 4 onion strips and green peppers, asked for mushrooms on it, got a couple, barely any cheese. The bread was meely and stale. This baldinos falls short of my expectations and is very hit or miss. I have been there a few times and it really depends on who is working. I had just about given up on them until my last time when i got a perfect sandwich for once. This time was back to disappointment. I grew up on baldinos as a kid in savannah, long before subway/firehouse/quiznos/jersey mikes/larrys became popular. I have always preferred them because of the fresh bread and quality meats/cheeses. I absolutely love Baldinos the food is awesome and up until the last few months the service was as well. Now every time I try to order via calling to place an order no one answers the phone. I doesn’t matter what time of day either. I typically have to wait a very long time for someone to answer the phone. Which is fine if they are busy but they aren’t I will get there to an empty store and employees standing around not really doing anything. Tonight I called about 6 times in a span of 15-20 minutes and waited while it rang for a long time only for no answer. I drove by on my way to another restaurant (that answered the phone), only to see that there is not a single car or customer in sight. I am not sure what happened for the decline in service but it really should be addressed because I love the food here.
