Peking Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Statesville

I have been going to this restaurant for over twenty years. I was so disappointed in the service I received with my last to go order. I have ordered the same item that I've always ordered. It was the first item that came out of my mouth when I placed the order. I called the restaurant back to address the issue with no attitude did not raise my voice I was very polite I only wanted to let them know that they got my order wrong. I have never been treated with this type of worst customer service in my life. The lady screamed at me. Then the young man that took my order that got the order wrong screamed at me. Once he finished his ranting at me I kindly told him" young man I never eat anything from here but the number 19 fried soft". He was completely silent. I am a woman of color and a lot of this restaurants business comes from my people. I feel like we need to stop giving them our business. They do not have any respect for my people however they love our money. I believe they are rude to everyone in particular my people. I do not care how good the food is I will not patronize your business if you do not respect me or my people or anyone as far as I am concerned. Never eat as this...

Probably the worst I've ever had. I'm reading reviews left and you people have no clue how bad this place is lol ! I spent $36 and was horrible. No flavor in my meal not spicy at all. My sons meal was a bit better but I feel sorry for you statesville people thinking this is good Chinese. A person commented saying she was "POC" and that's another horrible thing about statesville. Always quick to point out color like it matters. Yall REALLY need to get out and experience life and places other then this area! Not everywhere is so consumed with color and much better Chinese food then this. They know you people have no good comparison! Statesville is lacking in culture so much i can't wait to move. It should be very cultural with so many different races but sadly blks and whites are still in the stone...

Caveat Emptor

They have gone downhill to the bottom of the barrell of Chinese restaurants in Statesville. Once a Chinese restaurant serves American white rice rather than Jasmine rice, they have given up. Their pork fried rice is nothing better. No pork, peas, or egg...just their American rice with soy sauce. Such a shame. Spend 50 bucks and was appalled at the lack of flavor and all the cost cutting measures they have implemented. I will not go back. I ordered orange beef and they gave me some overcooked orange chicken that was probably under their buffet lights for two or three days during their lunch and then recycled into their meals that include sauce so they can...
