Pelican's SnoBalls of Statesville — Restaurant in Statesville

I really do hate to do this as we do frequent this location, and talking with the "owner" after calling x2. I stopped by this location tonight, unfortunately 10 minutes before closing, open sign was still on, celebrating an eagles win. I stood at the window for 5 minutes, watching employees inside walk by the window laughing, my youngest even tried knocking on the window. I completely understand i was cutting it close, and thats why i do hate leaving a review of this sort, but lets be honest here your hours are until 8pm... the owner would like to make it up to me, i am not one for free handouts, i will gladly pay for my food. I manage a shop that does relay on customers. If i am open until a certain time, my doors stay open regardless of customers. This is the first google review I’ve ever posted but I feel compelled. I visit Pelican’s other locations frequently, but am just stopping through so I’ve never been to this one. She over charged me for adding cream, telling me it was a dollar when it is supposed to be 50 cents. Then put so much syrup on the ice it was inedible. First time at Pelican's, and it was the best experience. Owners came out to personally greet us and explain options that they created themselves. I had a Papa Smurf, and the surprise was cheesecake bites in the middle of the creamy, delicious snoball! Amazing flavor, atmosphere, and prices!
