08/22/2024 I love being able to praise an employee or establishment for their hard work. Regretfully this is not one of those times. I placed an order online. It was a little confusing, I was not sure my order went through. I reentered my order. It returned to the first screen again with no confirmation. I called the store #(770)725-2888, introduced myself and asked if my order had been received. I was assured they had received the order. I explained they may receive a duplicate order. The gentleman told me if they received a duplicate order they would delete it. I then asked if it would be ok to pick up at 5:30pm. My friend Jackie placed an order as well, by phone. Approximately 5:19pm we made our way to the Domino's location on Hayes Lake Rd. in Statham, GA. We waited approximately 8 minutes at the drive thru window.before someone came to the window. We explained we needed to pick up 2 orders, one for Jackie and one for Lynn Hudson. The young man gave Jackie her order. I inquired about my order. He told us it was probably in the oven. Jackie asked if he could check. He walked off. We assumed to check on the remaining order. Jackie was finally able to get his attention. He returned to the window. He said he could not find an order for Lynn Hudson. He said they were really busy. Jackie explained she spoke to a gentleman at the store that had validated he had the order and he had approved the pick up time. The young man wanted to argue telling her that she probably spoke to someone at the call center. We assured him that was not the case. He walked off and another young man appeared at the window. Jackie asked him about my order. His response, it's in the oven. She recognized his voice as the person we spoke with on the phone. He agreed she had spoken to him earlier. She said the young man before him told us they didn't have the order. He walked away to check on my order. He came back and said he didn't know what happened, he saw the order earlier but it had disappeared, they didn't have the order. By this time 20 minutes had passed. We drove off, no apology. Jackie drove us home before her pizza was cold. She said the pizza box wasn't even warm when they gave it to her. On the way home Jackie called the store and asked for a manager. She spoke to the last young man at the window, who claimed to be the manager. She asked if they were going to do something for our troubles. He said the next time she came in he would give her a medium pepperoni pizza. I asked Jackie to give me the phone. I said because we waited so long for them to finally tell us the truth Jackie's pizza was cold. I told him we could return the pizza to him and he could make Jackie a fresh pizza and since we had to come back, I would like for them to make my pizza. He said it would take about 10 minutes to make the order. I gave him the complete order. We returned to the store. There was 2 cars ahead of us. The car that was first in line was the same car that had been behind us on our first trip. We sat in line approximately 10 minutes. Jackie pulled out of line and parked in front of the store. I walked inside. It was mass confusion. I stood in line for approximately 8 minutes. There were a few more unhappy customers in the store. The manager finally saw me and walked over. This time he was having a hard time finding Jackie's order. Finally! I reminded him Jackie had already paid for hers. With the confusion I did not realize he had overcharged me for mine. We arrived home. Because of all the waiting, we ended up with 2 cold pizzas. I have never had such bad customer service and all the mistakes. No one seemed to care. No one seemed to know what to do. I hope Domino's can fix this problem. I contacted Domino's customer service twice, The only response was they would forward the info to the store. As of 09/15/2024 I have not received a response.Dominos has lost my business and probably a lot more from what...
Read moreOn 12/1, I ordered Domino’s online for an evening delivery for the first time in two years. Our order was about 20 minutes late, but the delivery guy Brantley was super apologetic, friendly, gave us a free two-litter, and made us happy we’d ordered from Domino’s. The food was delicious and we thought, we will order from here now.
On 12/2, we ordered again since the previous night was so good. I put in an online order for a few hours later in the evening, for 7:45. I’m watching the tracker and my food was checked by Nicholas at 7:29. Then for the next hour it sat like that. I was upset because my husband leaves for work at 9:30 and it was so late I worried he wouldn’t be able to eat. He called for me since I was so upset, and was told by a woman that they were waiting on delivery drivers and it would be another 45 minutes to an hour before our delivery arrived. So almost three hours after our PLAN AHEAD time, would be when we received our order. My husband asked for a credit, our order to be free, anything to make up for this. The lady told him she’d give him a credit and they ended the call. Another hour later the pizza still hasn’t arrived. I called and was told by Michael - who was very pleasant - that the woman from before had canceled the order, when that is NOT what we had said. They’d canceled our order, did NOT credit us, and when the order finally arrived three and a half hours later I had to pay AGAIN and we received no apologies, no special add-ins, nothing to make up for the horrible experience we received.
Let me tell you this. We order pizza regularly, as two people who are on opposite schedules it’s helpful to have pizza delivered. We were about to be ordering from Domino’s exclusively. Well, scrap that now. I realize it was college football game night. But we ORDERED IN ADVANCE, online, which is what the whole system is made for! So they can PLAN AHEAD. Delivery drivers? It’s a Saturday night game day in the south. As a pizza joint you should be OVERPREPARED for this scenario.
We are disappointed and gonna stick with Papa John’s. Terrible customer service, totally disappointing, get your act together...

However, today was literally the worse experience with this Domino's that I have ever had. Ordered pizza for my fiance and I at 12:31pm. Watched the Domino's tracker and our order was checked at 12:42. Our food continued to sit in the hot box until the delivery driver finally left at 1:17. Between that time I had called the store 7 times and NO ONE ever answered. We live about 5 maybe 6 minutes from the store and the delivery driver didn't show up at our house until 1:36. When the driver finally arrived I asked why no one at the store was answering the phones, his excuse was that there was only one other person at the store and he was having to take orders, make orders, and deal with customers coming in.
Don't get me wrong, I understand it can be stressful, as I use to be the Assistant Manager at a pizza place and was by myself most Sundays as well. But that is NO EXCUSE to not answer the phones or at least let your customers know that there will be a delay in their order. I asked the delivery driver to please have the person at the store call me. Never received a call from the store, and when I finally decided to try and call the store again, you could tell that the person on the other end of the phone couldn't give two craps about how upset and frustrated I was. You could practically hear him rolling his eyes over the phone. I ever had to ASK how the situation was going to be resolved. I am honestly so dissatisfied and frustrated with how I was treated by the staff today. I will most likely be calling and requesting to speak to the manager or owner tomorrow. I feel sorry for anyone else who tried to order from this...
