What's not to love. Take a step back in time before all the fast food restaurants. This is apparent from the moment you pull up to what's usually a busy parking lot. Busy for all the right reasons. Home town cooking and hospitality. If your looking for chandeliers and fancy dishes this is not the place for you. What you do get is a sense of what life was in the days of small communities. Where the locals are eager to greet you with a friendly smile and a hello. Where the food is fresh and home cooked. Personally I find these small locally owned businesses very rewarding. For me it reminds me of going to my grandmother's house. Nothing fancy but filled with love and great food.

I love biscuits and gravy, but paying $6.50 for a burnt biscuit and a burnt piece of sausage with gravy that barely had a flavor is not what I was expecting! People were coming in and out like they are regulars and they liked it & prices seem to be all over! I paid $6.50 for this and a man walks in and orders three scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, a cup of coffee, and an order of home fries..$12.45 I think he got the better deal by far! What I got was unacceptable. After trying to eat, I could only make myself eat about 1/3 of the salty, floury, burnt combo🤮

Fantastic biscuits! Had sausage link, egg, and cheese, as well as a biscuit with gravy. I should have added sausage to the gravy, but was good enough without. Also had country ham, egg, and cheese on toast and was very good. Good food, great prices, and very nice people!

The food was okay. The people weren't friendly. The place itself was pretty gross. It needs a good cleaning. There was about an inch layer of dust on the fan directly above us. Luckily it wasn't on. But across the room, the fan was on and I couldn't help but think of all the grossness flying around. We had never been there so I wasn't aware of where the boosters or high chair seats were. We weren't offered one and I had to ask which typically when we go out to eat with out child, we are immediately asked if we need a high chair. Also had to ask for food for my toddler separately because as soon as she took me and my husband's order she ran off and I was like... Umm I'm not done. She got on the phone so I stood there and waited. Overall a pretty bad experience and most definitely will not be going back. We tried this place because of the rating. Not sure why it is...

As a truck driver, there are certain little gem of places that you miss from the corner of your eye. I saw this one as I pulling into my shipper. An overheard conversation and a quick research led me to it. This place is a reminder of what home is like when you're away from home. The entire staff is full of great conversations. The people that usually eat here are the people that you find yourself saying "hello" to out of positive auras. The food is a mixture of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, because you can order what you want or choose from what's available of a buffet spread that was professionally made from someone that knows that little secret recipe, just like "momma" make. If you're in this area, out of curiosity and just want to "tickle " your taste buds with some great food, bring an open heart, an empty stomach and fill both at...

My suggestion: Keep on driving. We tried the place out for breakfast. We left half our food. I got a steak and gravy biscuit with home fries. The biscuit was old, flat, hard, cold, tasteless. They put about 1 teaspoon of gravy on it with a tough piece of what seemed and tasted like a ftozen patty with freezer burn. Second person asked for a tenderloin biscuit with a side of scrambled eggs. What he got was the same old, hard niscuit with a tough/ grizzle filled piece of pork thrown on top with some overcooked/ rubbery eggs on the plate. Coffee was terrible. Ketchup bottle on table needing washing and was crusted over. Pretty disgusting overall. Won't go back. People were not even friendly. Very...
