Roundabout Espresso — Restaurant in Steilacoom

I would’ve loved to support this local business, but it doesn’t seem like they have their ducks in order yet. We went through the drive-thru in our car. There was a group of young women at the window (about 4 or 5 when we drove up), not in a car (they were walk-ups). We sat there for a while, while the young women chatted with the barista. None of them got a drink, or at least, no drinks were handed through the window while we were there. During the time we were there, several other young women approached the window and just stood in front of our car. I’m not even sure they were ordering drinks. Like I said, nobody received a drink the entire time we were there. Anyway, we waited for about 10 to 15 minutes, and when it became clear that this group of young women was just going to stand at the window, and apparently multiply and cut in front of us, we just drove away. I think they should probably have a separate area for walk up customers. I would be happy to update my review once I’m actually able to try...

First day opening review: managed to sneak over from Dupont during lunch hours and I’m happy I did. We tried the Saltars Point and Union. Both had great flavor. With the punch card they offer I look forward to trying their other specialties. It’s a bike ride from DuPont, a walkable area in Steilacoom, or a stones throw away by car for North Fort workers. It has a drive through available now and should have seating available for people who want to enjoy their meal locally soon. Tomorrow they start selling foods along the lines of bagels, sandwiches and burritos. Can’t wait to come back...

This is good quality coffee. They truly care about their coffee here. I got the saltars point drink and SOO good. Also they have real matcha here. So happy we finally have a real coffee place...
