Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

So far I've ordered delivery from this specific jets pizza 3 times and each occasion was ok" the pizza i ordered which was a classic cheese and pepperoni was very good! Soft cheese and crispy pepperoni with the bread itself being just the right temperature! There's also good customization options for your pizza if you are looking for something specific! Plenty of options for toppings and size and the menu does indeed have more than just the typical pizza's although I haven't had a chance to try it yet since I was only interested in the pizza but they offer both chicken wings with and without bones! Lot's of dipping sauce options as well as the classic salad and even a Greek salad which looks delicious and even calzones with customizable ingredients! So if you're looking for a bit of variety you'll find at least some of it here! Now for some nitpicks the pricing here is a bit high! If you plan on ordering delivery your gonna be paying at least $21 depending on what exactly your ordering so yes it is expensive so keep that in mind if you are on a budget as this is definitely not budget friendly! Now in terms of service thankfully I never had any issues other than but ONE just ONE occasion where my delivery driver was late due to traffic which is understandable I mean it's sterling Heights so obviously that was no surprise and no fault of the driver! And I did have one other problem where the soda i ordered was wrong. I ordered diet coke and I received regular! But a small mistake like that is nothing too devastating that I would be like my dinner is ruined now! No just mildly annoying since I wanted diet but it's cool. Anyways This jets specifically seems ok I never had a bad experience so far as I enjoyed the food and didn't have any issues getting it! Also Ps these guys close at around 12AM so they stay open just late enough for you to get a late night meal if you need it so there's another plus! We have been regular customers of this location for the past 18 years. Yesterday’s experience was the worst.

It began with me texting our order thru their app. It didn’t concern me that I didn’t get a response as that’s happened in the past. Upon arriving at the store, I was told that the order did not go thru and that it was a corporate problem. I asked to speak with the manager to see if they would make any adjustment for my inconvenience but was quite rudely told that I could still order it if I wanted to wait,PERIOD.

It was all downhill from there. While I was waiting I asked the employee at the front counter the manager’s name and was nastily told I could ask him! ( employee’s name on receipt was CHRISTIAN) after a while the employee came back and told me the manager was Ethan.

Now the best part, after waiting I was presented with a ROUND pizza when I had ordered a DEEP DISH. ( honest mistake? Hmmm) I accepted the round as I had waited long enough. Upon arriving home, it was if they forgot/ neglected (hmmm) to put any cheese on it! We ended up throwing the bulk of it in the garbage.

After the text not working, being treated less then professionally at the store, given the round and not the deep dish, then getting home to find a very poor quality pizza; this business has seen the last of...

Two weeks in a row ordered a non pizza item and was disappointed both times. (1). pizza Jet Boat. Not as pictured. Withered ,small, tasteless inside was hard . In short “terrible “. And believe me l’ m being kind. This week ordered boneless wings and a Greek Salad. Oh boy, compared to the the Jet Boat , the boat was was a ten. Boneless wings were actually tiny burnt nubs of some sort of material. Breading was thick, sticky and had no taste. They were dark and lack luster in appearance. Another kick in the rump was, they delivered a ton of the garbage. Now for the topper, the salad. Tough, rough cut hard lettuce veins. Three small wilted cherry tomatoes. Ground up white stuff (Fetta?) and three. Count them, three tiny beet silvers. Do the neighbor hood a favor and leave the salad making to the excellent delis in the area. Now, the pizza is A-1, top notch, excellent. Venture away from pizza and you will be disappointed beyond belief.
