I will not even give this place "1" star, but in order to post this review I had to. I worked for Jimmy Johns for several years - as an inshop, as a delivery driver, and then as management. I have never experienced such crappy customer service and poorly made sandwiches until I began ordering from this Jimmy Johns. Every time I go in, my sandwich is made incorrectly or consists of wilted lettuce among other issues. I have called to rectify the situation several times, even though I should have just stopped ordering from here. I ordered inshop today. I ordered a number 1 with extra cheese. I had THREE people ask me how many portions of cheese do I want. Um, the portion it comes with and the extra that I am paying for; simple right? Well, after I was asked the third time, I then asked "was I charged extra for 2 portions or something?" and the 2nd sandwich maker snapped back stating "Um, no I just see extra cheese here so I asked", with the most sour attitude and to top it off, she forgot to cut the sandwich in half. Are you that pissed about me asking what I'm being charged for? Still, I kept my mouth shut, grabbed my food, and left. Today, I called to complain yet again (today my sandwich had so much onion on it I almost gagged - probably a good 20 pieces of onion, when I KNOW there should only be 6-8 ringlets, as well as my lettuce being so thick and wilted) and told the "general manager" (although, given how disrespectful she was, I don't believe she was the general manager for a second - her name is Megan) what the issue was and that I could not make it today to swap the sandwich and she replied with "well what am I supposed to do when you claim you're not coming back to this store?" Clearly, I said I could not make it back TODAY, but apparently her attitude got in the way. Seriously, do us all a favor. IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN DO NOT WORK IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WORLD. It is that simple. I will get my free meal and never order from here again and I will continue to tell this story to anyone who inquires about this location. Train your employees to treat your customers accordingly. After all, we are the entire reason you remain in...
Read moreSpent 20 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break in line. Get to the window and the girl tells me my card is declined. And they can't figure out how to enter it manually. I have $1361 in my account. Didn't get lunch today. Really sucks.
UPDATE 4 HOURS LATER* I Have since confirmed with my bank nothing is wrong with my account, and there is no reason my card would be declined. My guess is a user error from the dimwit at the drivethru. Not only are you not freaky fast, Jimmy Johns, but I had to starve during my 10 hour work shift today.
UPDATE #2 AFTER I FINALLY ATE AT 6:30 PM My card has worked so far at two other places with no issues. Gas station and at Rite Aid. I should've just gone to the gas station on my lunch.
Someone from HR reached out, offered me free food. I did not accept as I just figured as long as I always get my food, no hard feelings. Even raised my review back up. But now I have since had not one, not two, but three more just bad experiences here, and I'm done...
One was a delivery order. I work across the street, and didn't have time to take a lunch, and it took 45 minutes to get my food delivered across the street.
The next time we ordered pick up and ordered 4 bags salt and vinegar chips, and they had our phone number and address even though it was a pick up, and when my husband got there 15 minutes later, they did not have any bags of those chips. They didn't bother to let us know that at any point though.
Last and final straw was putting mayo on my sub that mayo doesn't go on. That wouldn't have been the biggest deal in the world if there wasn't so many previous blunders, but this was just it. I HATE MAYO. It's not an ingredient on the Vito so it almost felt like a personal attack and once again, I didn't get to eat.
All the free food in the world couldn't change my opinion at this point. Subway has the worst kind of felon associated with them, but still beating JJs at their sub game. Something...

When they messed up a giant #14 I got three days ago, they messed it up and when I called, I was then given a credit for that one. Although, when I redeemed it, it wasn't for a giant, just a regular. This is by far the worst JJ's location I've ever been to. I keep going because it's by my work. But if I was you, I'd avoid it all together.
UPDATE: IT HAPPENED AGAIN. SO I CHANGED MY REVIEW TO A 1 STAR.
This location is a 3 minute drive from my job. In the last month, they've messed up my order 4 times, two of which were in the same visit. This time, there was no extra mayo, there was tomatoes on it and the other didn't have the vinegar and oil that we asked for.
I might add that the tomatoes had the bitter yellow core in them still.
Last time, we went inside to order since we had more time for lunch. My #14, which I always get, didn't have any roast beef on it. When I asked for it to be remade, they remade it with roast beef, but put tomatoes on it, with the reciept right in front of them. So I asked to have it remade a second time. When it was done, they set it at the end of the make table and left it there for 5 minutes while my coworker was basically finished eating. I had to tell them we came together and wanted to eat at the same time. They offered no apology or anything.
Freaky fast and freaking wrong, every time...
