Don's Seafood & Chicken — Restaurant in Sterling

Can't say enough good things about this place. Not only is the food great (quality, taste, and portion sizes), but you cannot beat the price A little over 20 bucks for a 14 piece bone in dinner!?!?* 🥰 After chatting with them, I found out that keeping prices reasonable was extremely important. They have had increases in their food costs and refuse to raise the prices if they don't have to. These folks really care about their customers. Think that's honestly the most important factor in who I choose to spend my money with. They have the best customer service. Hands down. Didn't take long at all before she remembered my voice and knew our entire order. Heard the rest of their menu is just as good as the chicken, but we haven't been able to find out. Can't get enough of their fried chicken. Looking forward to trying everything...

This is a very small establishment so I would assume a large portion of their business is carryout which is what we did on this visit. I called in our order the gentleman who answered and took my order was very friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 half chicken meals (which came with a choice of potato and salad) & onion rings. We were told our order would take 30-35 minutes and that is what it took. Our food was very good everything was hot and fresh even though we took it to go. The onionrings were not the frozen type you get at most places they were hand dipped and fried to a perfect doneness and so was the chicken. Don't let the outside of the building influence you because the inside is clean and comfortable. They only have a few tables so it is not set up for a huge group. I lived here for the last almost 10 years. And I always avoided this place because of the way it looks on the outside . So today we decided to come in. And let me tell you that the inside is worse than the outside. It was like a movie . Like the hills have eyes basement with crud all over the floor and walls and even in the windows where you’re face is rite beside . Besides that the food was mediocre to bad. The bread was old the tomatoes saw it’s best days on the shelf and the fries were sour . The cup she gave me water in was not clean and the baskets the food came in were caked with some years (I guess)...
