Bob Evans — Restaurant in Steubenville

Normally my boyfriend and I love to eat at Bob Evans, the food is always good and very reasonably priced. On 8-29 we took a day trip away from our normal stopping grounds and ended up in Steubenville OH. We were seated without having much of a wait. Our waitress (Leymon R) took extremely long to come to get our drink orders (I had time to sit for a few minutes, then leave to use the restroom, and come back and wait even longer before she ever showed up). After we finally got our waitress she came back (eventually) with our drinks (now the real fun starts). Before coming in to the restraunt I had made a decision on what I was going to order based on calorie count (a turkey melt). I told the waitress what I wanted and had to repeat myself 4 times plus point at the picture on the menu. (another long wait) our food comes out cold, but to make the situation even better Leymon sets a Bacon Cheese Burger in front of me, when I said something about it being the wrong sandwich she told me that they were no longer offering the Turkey melt as part of their menu! (thats fine I get it but she literally picked a sandwich for me to eat with out ever asking me!). I eventually got the attention of the manager (to ask for a different sandwich because my waitress wouldnt come back to the table) when I explained the situation he told me that they do still have the turkey melt as part of the menu and brought the new sandwich out to me (now the waitress had lied to me and picked a menu item out for me!). At the end of the meal we had to get the manager to give us our bill because the waitress wouldnt even walk past our table! Needless to say there is no way we will ever revisit...

We visited the steubenville location around 7 pm on 9/16/17. After being seated next to a table full of trash , dirty floors and a tray under our table and the one next to us we placed our order. My husband said twice no pickle no tomatoes on his burger.while waiting on the food we watched as several employees walked by and even stood back behind the counter pointing at the table full of food but did nothing to clean it up. I took pics. So when we get our food first thing there is tomatoes and pickles in my husband's burger the waitress said I don't know why they did that I marked it on here, ok no big deal we picked them off , then there was a nat in my sour cream.I was ready to leave at this point because I had already seen nats flying around but my daughter got up and took the container to the waitress who's response was "not cool, I'll get another one"she knew we were irritated. We ate are food that we paid 43 dollars for while still having a loaded dirty table behind us.as we paid the guy at the counter he said how was everything my husband did not respond and we left.That was our first time eating at this location and will be our last. I am not sure how to post pics but I wish I could. The whole atmosphere was just plain gross and the staff pointing out the dirty table and walking by several times looking at it, never once asked if we would like seated somewhere else or apologized for the nat in...

Service was very slow and when my 2 orders of steak and shrimp finally came for me and my girlfriend 45 minutes later it was cold so i boxed it up and left without eating.. When me and my girlfriend got home we sat down to eat and as we cut into our steaks they were were pink and bloody. The stake was rushed during the cooking process cause it was burnt on the outside but still really pink and bloody on the inside. Also we had ordered a quart of noodle soup which we never recieved. I called immediately after i got home with the food and saw this problem, and the guy manager took my name and number and said he would replace my 2 orders but when I went in a few days later to get my orders the young girl manager acted like I was lieing about me having 2 messed up orders and said i should of called that day when I noticed my orders were wrong and I told her I did, " she said your name or number wasnt taken down so you didnt"...I will never go back to this Bob Evans ever again. Worse food I've ever had along with management. I don't recommend this...
